I like Happy Days, I think they have a good environment for children to learn. My child used to go there before she was old enough to go to school.

Carol and Roy Elledge do child care but it is expensive. My daughter would have only been there for no more than 30 minutes and she charged a $17.50 minimum. Just to catch the bus!
I used Happy Days for about 6 years. I liked a few of the workers there at the time but they have gotten new ones since. Sometimes I would go in to get my kid and have to get on to kids for hitting, taking toys, etc., because some of the girls were lazy and would just sit there. One time a kid was crawling around in his spit-up, I told the girl, she blew it off, then another parent said something so she finally went over and cleaned it up. That was a while back though. |

I'm looking to put my 3 year old in for socialization. She will be doing pre k in August so just like two days a week until then. Even two half days....but happy days seems worn down and they are full with kids in front of us. I'm interested in at home daycare if they have other kids and if they "teach" them things like a regular daycare does

Head start and Pre-K are good for socilization and free. THEY BOTH FILL UP QUICKLY |

I'm a single father and both of my children went to Head Start. They both went to afternoon pre k by bus from head start. Ms Julie was great with both of my kids. Very friendly people. They helped me with so much. They took them to the dentist which was great considering my work schedule. they provide lunch and breakfast and it's all free. I'd look into it if I were you. I know they have a waiting list sometimes so try calling as soon as you can for when school starts.

They do take some over income each year. VBS is good socialization in the summer also.

When I called she said there's a long waiting list for the over income and we'd be at the bottom...but if she doesn't get in to pre k I will probably put her on the list. I'll also keep an eye out for vbs, thank you
