My father, Kennon Gillis, is alive and well - although he might tell a different story since he has had a hard time recently with his health.

He has severe heart problems and was scheduled for open heart surgery a few weeks ago. It was cancelled until he gets stronger and he is now at home getting rest. But - he has not gone to the "upper room" yet! He is still in the living room...

My uncle, Jimmy Herndon passed away July 15th. Please keep our family in your thoughts and prays. He was a big hearted man and will be missed terribly.
