Rain, snow in the mix for metro area for the next couple days

The National Weather Service announced a hazardous weather outlook Wednesday, with a chance of mixed precipitation - rain and snow - possible for portions of central and southern Minnesota including the Twin Cities.

Hi Julie: I moved away from the Excelsior/Deephaven area in 1978 when I joined the Army. I miss the Minnesota snow as well as all the dramatic changes from season to season. No where else in the world are the season so beautiful.

I see the Twins did well this year and the Vikings are off to a good start.
