We all know Harrison is awesome. Wasn't trying to take anything away from him. I was talking about athletes from awhile ago.(More than 1 year.) Harrison's dad was a good wrestler when he was on the team. So were the Metcalfe brothers, Michael and Joey.
Who else do you all think were great athletes? Any sport, not just wrestling.

I said I couldn't remember ALL of the awesome wrestlers that have come out of WCHS. And while all of those guys were very good, they were after me and my time. Harrison's dad was during my time. Yeah, I am an old one! I was just trying to get a conversation started that wasn't negative. Those are hard to find on here.

And again, Harrison was and is an awesome wrestler. Just trying to talk about some of the others.

so i take it you were on Brent Courtneys team? that was what like 90, 92? ok here are some of the good wrestlers from that time. Bret Courtney, Nathan Schillings. Or wasit 93, because the 93 team is like the best team we have ever had. if thats the case, JoJo was on that team, and i can't really think of too many others. im still wrestling so im not back from the day but i know wofo's history when it comes to wrestling. Im coach parks's cousin, soo go figure haha

I was an older sister from that era. But I went to EVERY meet. I spent many a day sitting on those wooden bleachers. My youngest brother graduated in 98 and was on Ian Horn's team. Are you related to Ian Parks?

That name sounds familiar. I was still earlier than that. I graduated in 89. One brother in 92 and then the youngest in 98. Still follow the mat jackets when I can. Not in WOFO anymore. I actually live 1 county over from Larue. Don't hold that against me, I can't stand the little buggers!

You should be down here. I know someone that has grandkids on the team and that is all he talks about. It's like WCHS doesn't even exist. They had one kid on the team that they all knew was gonna win state and then Harrison beat him. Kicked his butt all over the mat. And I want to say it was when Harrison was a freshman! It kept that guy quiet for a while. Very Sweet!

You're probably talkin' about Pat Banks. He was Larues hero. HAHA!!! I can't stand Larue.

Guys you Know what I had the chance to travel with the US Olympic team with Joe Carr Sr. Todd Gordan my self and little Joe which at the time he was 4 yrs old. We were in Canada, with the olympic team and the coaches were already taking notes on little Joe. But you may should look at little Joes uncle Jimmy Carr. Gold at 17 in wrestling.

God loves Rudy. My best friend in the wrestling room. Rudy and Russel McCowan would know.
