Mr Johnson seems to be the correct choice here. How many years has Destito been there all while mr Silver has been in charge? And what has she done for us lately? Never recall her helping persuade a certain group to pay their fair share of taxes while allowing Oneida county and Nys to provide services to them. Johnson for assembly. Townsend for sheriff. Thank you very much

RoAnne has served long enough. A vote for RoAnne is a vote for Silver to retain his leadership role. We need change! I admire the Mohawk Valley Chamber of Commerce in it's courage to stand up for change!

Her dealing with the OIN did it for me. How is she out for my best interest when she has personal interest involved.

These "polls" have obviously been hijacked by tea-partiers and right-wingers. No way is Paladino ahead in the Governor's race, and Johnson won't win here either. He has been better than most people who've run for this job, but he doesn't seem to offer much more than that he will change things. We've heard this a lot before...always easier when you're a candidate to just suggest you can wave a magic wand and solve everyone's problems rather than having to come up with some practical ideas.

Enough with RoAnne. She is a really nice lady! Hands down! But the B.S. with her husband and the liquor licenses is corrupt!!! Stop trying to pretend it is anything other than that. P.S. Chris was a great guy too. He did a lot for Rome. But the dealings with the Indian nation was just wrong.

Roann has proven time and time again that she is able to get some of the taxpayers' money back to her district. But she should shoulder much of the blame for a declining economy in her district. This decline has caused many people, especially men with families to relocate out-of-state. It seems the typical households in this area have mostly women as the primary or sole breadwinners. With the exception of executives, doctors, lawyers, and nurses, most women in this area live in poverty! Also, no real good paying jobs are here in this area for men anymore. Men and women voters need to offset the mostly elderly female support Destito gets, election year after election year. I feel bad for her losing her husband to cancer, but it's time she did something else for a living.

Greg Johnson all the way!! NO MORE FATANNADANNA!!
Greg got stabbed in the back though. A few weeks ago a beeg Republican powwow was held at the home of a prominent NH republican who btw has alot of do$re$mi. Most big name repubs were there [Hanna, Tounsend etc].
When it came time for Greg to speak, he graciously thanked his hosts [mr & mrs do$re$mi]for their help and support!
The nextday the newspaper published a list of companies that signed a letter supporting FatAnn.
That NH republican family business was on the list of FatANN supporters!!!
PS its a large f***r o***c company owned by a family named g****o. True story no smoke!!!
I'm voting for Greg regardless of him being stabbed in the back by NH repubs.
hey suejusticeperson90210 look into this and put it on your blag. IT HAPPENED!!! ASK AROUND you will find out

Okay, so your point is to keep putting in the same cheat, corrupt, self-serving politician instead of casting a vote for someone new and fresh. It's people like you that stay here in NY and feed this non sense. Smartin the hell up and do us all a favor and vote the other candidate and watch things change.

I will agree with you Laser WHEN the 'new and fresh' candidate has something to offer. The Republicans would back a candidate against destito with some real resources and support if they got one with some real ideas. They are supporting Hanna becaue he does have fresh ideas; There's nothing fresh at all about the same tired rhetoric Johnson and every other sacrifical lamb the Republicans have put up against her about cutting taxes, the Indians, member items, blah blah blah. Several of her opponents have been invisible, but the few that have talked a little--including this guy--keep using the same 1990 campaign playbook; it's kind of what a smart high school kid could come up with in a civics class if they had an assignment to come up with a campaign platform. With the exception of the guy running for county clerk, who simply is smarter than the incumbent, and Hanna, who has a decent platform, there are no other challengers at the state and local level who have offered a thing except "vote for me because I'm not the other person." Talk is cheap; you can bellow a lot about going in and cleaning house, but you get to Albany, and even if you have vision and great ideas, you'll be told to sit down and shut up for a few years until you learn the ropes. All the promises some of these candidates offer about what they'll do in their first few months is beyond ridiculous. Laser, we all have reason to be pissed about the lousy condition our state is in now, but we deserve candidates who don't insult our intelligence. I don't like having to vote against someone by giving my vote to someone who hasn't a clue. Folks did that in Delaware for Senator, and in NY for Governor. The only change those two are gonna get is what the parking lot attendant gives them as they slink out of their hotel the day after they are throttled in the election. I probably will vote for a few challengers of incumbents this year who have at least made an effort to earn our votes, but unless he comes up with something pretty convincing in the next few days (and I ain't holding my breath), Johnson will not be one of them.
