In spite of what you have been led to believe a person can not "mail order" a firearm or purchase one at a gun show without the required paperwork.

Why the need for a gun at all? I don't know the whole story behind this guy, but with all the awful shootings taking place at campuses and schools it sounds frightening.

had nothing to do with a school shooting, he had a protective order from a domestic dispute, meaning he slapped around a girlfriend, and when you have a protective order you can not own any fire arms. so basically it would be no big deal but he violated terms of his judge issued protective order (similar to a restraining order).

joseph, clearly you have no knowledge of the topic and the situation so keep your words inside. He was hoping to make the olympic team in triple jump where his numbers are very impressive. All of these comments posted have been ignorant and i'm just saying the media portrays situations in the worst ways. I hang out with Georgia all the time and I really gain knowledge from his philisophical way of thinking. He realizes that people in this society are going to jump him about certain things
like the way he wears his hair, the color of his skin, and the way his is,,,, but realize one thing. Your opinions about him mean nothing because he has always said that only God could judge him. Before you judge someone , realize that people make some mistakes.. dont critize him, show him support.

I'm pretty sure no one said anything about hisn skin color. If he was white I would still think his hair looks stupid. And He is an idiot, AND a criminal on top of that. Tell your pal to keep the slapping around his girlfriend to a minimum.

there have been many ignorant comments made about this man on various articles. i like the fact on how you can make jokes of another man's future...Tell yourself that you need to grow the fuck up and realize that people make mistakes. Don't judge this dude because you wouldn't want yourself being judged and criticized when the truth of the situation has not been revealed.
