Rhode Island Novelty recently acquired Giftco and is in the process of reviving the brand. Once the merger is completly Giftco will be up and running.

Unfortunately for the former employees, everything to try and "turn around" the company was done far too late. The executive abuse was going on for many years. It was just a matter of time before their little house of cards came tumbling to the ground. Many good employees lost their vacation time, insurance, and careers due to the ineptness of the upper management.
