Zebra starts layoffs, transition to China

a burned employee Providence, RI	Reply » \| Report Abuse \| Judge it! \| #3 Oct 17, 2009 i worked at zebra tech in ri and it was the worst experience of my life!!!!!and i no how you feel.we made the company 90 million at end of qter then we got kick out. this is why americans dont want to work hard because this is how everyone gets treated at the end.i hope to god vern hills reads this. burn in hell.and those managers that work in ri what comes around goes around.

Right after the outsourcing announcement, Zebra contracted 3rd party to survey employee satisfaction, my managers warned that all should provide positive feedback, since the company clearly knew who wrote what. I watch first hand how managers openly fight/play games against each other.

Yet, the same game-playing from manager to manager, department to department and division to division existed in rare form. Human Resources was notorious for their hypocrisy and vengence. Really, a difficult and sad professional experience.
