District Attorney Brett Burns

I would like to know how many people have complaints about our District Attorneys office. The People of Caddo county, Grady county, and Stephens county need to take a stand. We cant sit back and allow a man to make his own rules and take control of our counties. Something has to be done and i really dont know where to start so im hoping to start here and get advise from others who have been wronged by our system. One person cant take it on by themselves. If your truly sick of the way things are being done In these counties please give your advise or opinion.

I agree Brett Burns has taken it upon himself, to destroy, persecute, and lie on anyone, to make him a name. Maybe someone needs to put a pettition out in order to have him removed from office. Seems he has no compassion for anyone and will stop at nothing to destroy there life. In the name of Brett Burns for Attorney General? He use to be a great guy, but being the D A, giving him authority has truly turned him into a selfcentered monster

being from anadarko and having been involved in law enforcement at one time, and having had relatives involved in court cases since.

i will give you a great place to start. how about follow the money? a lot of folks don't know about the d.a.'s drug money fund, who most call it a "slush fund." ever wonder what happens to all the money that comes from the vehicles and property confiscated through drug arrests? there is no absolutely no guidelines as to how that money is to be used. when it was first established, the money was to be used for drug interdiction. as far as i know they don't even have to keep records of how much and where the money goes. but, this isn't just our d.a., it's all d.a.'s in the state.

i don't know how you are going to get people to stand up when they are scared for themselves, or for their relatives.

i have heard that one of our judges is trying to stand up against the d.a. regarding "railroading" some folks. so, the d.a. tries to use other judges. time will tell if the other judges bow to his wishes.

i do wonder why in the world our governor appointed brett, don't u? good ole boys network never dies, it just has a different face.

the only thing i can think of is someone needs to run against him next time.

it's been a long long time since justice was a search for the truth rather than just another notch in the d.a.'s belt.

strange how he has channel 4 in his hip pocket, and presenting himself to having 20 years exp. must have started when he was around 15 or so.

`yes and we as caddo county citizens, set back and let Brett Burns sentence us to bankrupcy, wonder where that money goes? Also when they arrest a person everything in the vehicles are taken in as evedence, but then you never see it again, because it was either stolen property, or they have missplaced it, according to the da's office they are no more than thieves themselves, If you asked to see there reports on the stolen goods you actually get threatened. Because there is no reports, out fellow police officers have the things in there position. makes me sick ,
I know people that have lost everything because out local cops have robbed from them. We the people can't continue to roll over for them, we might as well live in a communist country. lawyers are unabale to fight for our rights, because in reallity we have no rights in these counties

Oh yes i heard him on television lying like a snake. Saying he had 20 years experience in the Da's office and he also said he had tried over 50 murder cases. WOW! I know lawyers with many years experience that hasnt tried that many murders I wonder just how many were actually convicted. Yes i guess he must've got his law degree while in high school. He also wrote a large add in the daily news saying that we needed a new jail because Bad criminals were getting out before the ink dried on the paper. Well funny thing about that is most of the people who are actually in the caddo county jail are in there because of failure to pay on fines or child support. Well seems like the smart thing would be is to let those people go. I cant see where they can pay there fines or child support while sittin there while we the citizens are paying to feed them and paying a large fine for being overcrowded. Kinda stupid if you ask me.

i agree, i know someone who had to sit in the county for a year for failure to pay child support, YET they let a guy go the next day for stabbing someone, oh what a great court system we have

well, i wonder how much money the alleged stabber had? obviously the guy owing child support had none.

our da is a bomb thrower. file the charges, then find (manufacture) the evidence?

sad thing is ,not only is Burns corrupt, He has made criminals out of the police officers working with him I have no respect for them. they are no more than common criminals themselves ,liars, thieves, drunks. not sure a few not on the meth.
that has been a rumor for years.

Thank you so much for that article, my son has been pulled,slambed,and road hard by these jurks.They have to be stopped, would you be concerned enough to meet with me and give me some guidance and facts on how to take a stand against Brett Burns and others in caddo, grady, and stevens county,I am so ready for a fight.so sick of how they have abbused the system, I would lie my life down for this cause is how sick I am of them.they push and push and have know plans of stopping.

last time i got involved in something like this was with the previous burns who threatened to have something done to me.

my advice to mother....start with the state attorney general

Yes i did read the comment mr. Burns wrote in there and my first thought was WHAT AGE LEVEL IS HE? I was very disturbed. You know you would think that someone who is supposed to be a high up official of our counties wouldnt have been so childish it just floored me when i read it. Pretty much just proved what i thought all along about him.

please people of the law, Such as Attorneys other people working in DA's office,law enforcement, that knows what is going here, such as the railroading of the people in the coounties authorized by Brett Burns, step up to the plate for your fellow man, and help put a stop to this monster. I would if i knew the law better and knew where to start.

Has anyone noticed the definite coolness between the DA's office and Judge D Stephens.

Seems the DA doesn't like it when Judge Stephens sticks to the law.

yes that is so true, I think Stephens tried to do right, about half right anyway. and the DA'S office doesn't care about doing right, they care about getting your money even if it bankrupts everyone in the county,

Brett Burns is an idiot. and whoever it was who said he is a snake is right on. I know him personally. I also know Devin Brewster, and was very very close with Jason Brewster. If the family doesn't want charges to be filed on this matter, then it shouldn't be filed. But ohhh no. The no talent a$$ clown Burns is prosecuting Devin for Murder 1 tomorrow morning. Just steams my clams. Good luck with the Brett Burns. Try to prove intent when it was an accident. Don't we all wish we were as good as Burns. He never makes a mistake. What a waste of good oxygen.

murder 1? from all i read about it....it was accidental....typical da BS....i am sure the DAs office would say that it is to protect the public. we all know it's to bump up his stats. they don't care that they are ruining a 22 year old kid's life....pitiful
