Nat United States	Reply » \| Report Abuse \| Judge it! \| #1 Dec 14, 2006 I just moved to Tennessee from NY, I was wondering what do I need to bring me to Register my Vehicle and receive a license tag? I have the Title, do I need like proof of residency or anything like that? and how much does it cost? I looked all over the Tennessee DMV web site but it didn't include this information I was looking for. Thanks!! XD

Happy Trucker Cashiers, NC	Reply » \| Report Abuse \| Judge it! \| #5 Dec 14, 2006 It is very simple. Just go to County Clerk's office with the title of the car and (maybe) old registration. If you are in Johnson County, it will take about 2 minutes and about $25.
