The blue baby located at Harts cemetery on N Ingram road near the Rodeo. I've heard about this 'ghost' since I was a kid. Never have seen it though in all the years I've driven at night by there:)

Me and a few friends started goin ghost hunting a couple years ago. Yes Dexter has its Boogie Woods, which are pretty scary. Theres a cemetery that was est. by the French on a county rd as your leaving Blodgett. But if you really wanna see a freaky place go to commerce mo. Their old cemetery is on top of a huge hill surrounded by trees. Use to be able to drive up there but too many big holes now, you have to walk. I refuse to return to this place at night.
You get some pretty interesting pics from there though.

Grant and Jason are still on Ghost Hunters new episodes, they are not on GH International. Brian and the girl are part of the new International crew and GH has a new girl, maybe 2, working with them now.

All the current new episodes are Ghost Hunters International (different team, all out of country investigations). Ghost Hunters, based in Rhode Island with Jay, Grant, Steve, etc, season premiere is Sept 3rd at 8pm.

I heard there was some sort of ghost story about that historic house in New Madrid. I can't remember the name of it, but it is some kind of historical site.

The Hunter Dawson Home probably. Never heard anything about ghosts or such but then again I didn't grow up in NM. I remember crap from when I was a kid about the Seven Sisters park and some cemetery and I think some place near Morehouse. Could have just been dumb kids messing with their friends. That's been more than 20 years ago so maybe now the kids have better things to do with their time than to tell ghost stories!?! I do know there is supposed to be something at East Prairie near some railroad tracks, a light or something. I saw a thing on youtube about it.

The Hunter Dawson home is haunted, but the workers there won't tell you that anymore. I've known people who worked there that told me they've heard the piano play and that when they were vacumming it came unplug though they were only a couple of feet away from the outlet. There is the Farrenburg light out in farrenburg...but the road to get there is block by a gate now. There is also Crybaby bridge just out of NM off of the levee...

Hey im from commerce and try living there and the stuff that you hear at night will give you the runs. Now the old school has a green glow if you are there at the right time at night. There is another grave yard at the bottom of jackson hill (the hill u come down going into commerce)it is a slave cemmertary.and ive seen myself that there is a young boy and what seems to be his father or gardian its pretty scary and this one you can do in brood daylight. check it out.

My older sister and her boyfriend went parking one night on some gravel road down by New Madrid and they swear to this day they saw the ghost of a big black man wearing all white with his eyes glowing walkin down the road. I worked with a guy from New Madrid at the time so I went to work and asked him about it. He said the story was that a black guy had been caught with a white girl and her father and brother went and drug him out of his house and hung him on that road. They supposedly made him put on a clan robe before they hung him and that is why he is wearing white. He is supposedly trying to find his way home. Another story I have heard about the New Madrid County area is that there is a warewolf over by Parma. I know a lady who does not believe in anything supernatural but she claims she saw it one night on her way home when driving down the road that goes from Parma to Malden.

Heres' a thought - everyone on this forum needs to go check out one of the haunted areas just talked about and see if they scrounge up any additional info.. if we're lucky, we'll have some personal experiences that we can comment about.

I had always heard this as a kid, but as I got older, I realized numerous places lay claim to the blue baby story.
As for the light in East Prarie, it's the gases coming from the swamp, but it's still pretty cool.
Sorry if I bursted anyone's bubble because I like to believe as much as the rest of you.
As for the Hunter-Dawson home, that place creeps me out. I went there as a kid and it really is spooky.

Daily Horoscope for February 12

Virgo

Before the day's even fully underway, you could be drawn to an item in a shop which proves irresistible. Of course, there could be other wonderful items in other shops.... but can you afford to grin and keep shopping? If you don't exercise some control, tomorrow you're going to wonder what on earth happened. You don't need a lawnmower if you live in an apartment, or four hundred disposable nappies if you don't have a baby! Get the point?
