I am a VVISD tax payer and need info on "Dr." Cynthia Clary. Please!!! We need help!!

While Dr. Clary was here,(and she does have her Ph.D., no need for the quotations,) she did a fantastic job.
As a teacher, I understand that there are times when a new person comes in, and it makes the people that have been stuck in one place their whole lives uncomfortable. But the school board who hired someone from somewhere else did it because there was no one local smart enough to handle the job. I have lived in Riviera my entire life, but I can honestly say that out of many Superintendents I worked under, the best two I have ever worked for were both people from somewhere else, one of them being Clary.
It saddens me to see that some people think these things about Dr. Clary, but I know that it must just be ignorance, because anyone who has been somewhere or made something of themselves would know just how lucky they are to have her in their school district. I pray for those of you who are ignorant of the blessing that God has sent your school. I also pray for you who say things like what Mad Mom said, because The Golden Rule isnt just something that we teach our kids, but something God commands us to do.
The truth is, anyone posting such hateful and false statements as these about anyone is someone that is a prime example of why someone from Van Vleck wasnt hired as Superintendent.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, just because you don't agree with it, there is no need to call anyone ignorant. Who's breaking the Golden Rule now? I never personally attacked Riviera, TX or the people who live there but you took it upon yourself to attack VV and the people who live here. Once again, keep your hypocritical religion to yourself. And you don't have a clue what type of educated professionals live in Van Vleck. Trust me, there are plenty, none of them however, are on the school board that hired Dr. Clary.

And we would like to elect a new school board, but thanks to Dr. Clary, we can't do that now until her contract expires or we have to buy her out. She took it upon herself to write a letter to the state asking them to change the terms of the School Board elections/members to coincide with the county & state elections, thus securing her job during the duration of her contract! Again, Master Manipulator/Con-Artist/Crook!
If she was doing a great job, there would be no reason to change the terms of the school board members to secure her job.
