Sargent to get own post office

A Sargent resident spoke in appreciation of the efforts of the county judge and commissioners for bringing a United States Post Office to Sargent during the regular commissioner's court meeting Monday morning.

thanks to the efforts of the county judge and commissioners............now that we are getting a new post office maybe TOPIX will figure out that Sargent is on the Texas gulf coast not Dallas County.........Really your articles are great about Sargent now lets Move the whole Town to the Coast go to the beach..Lamar

Well thats great that Sargent got its own Post Office, how about some law enforcement presence. Given the latest criminal activity in Sargent, you would think the new sheriff would adjust his manpower accordingly, is this guy blind or just plain stupid?

Yeah and lets get that Country Store and Texaco store out and get a Real store Like Buccees in there that gives to the Community instead of taking away.
