Rail builder cutting 502 upstate jobs

Full story: WHEC-TV Rochester, NY

French engineering firm Alstom SA is cutting 502 jobs in Hornell in western New York, leaving between 200 to 300 workers at its rail assembly plant.

but i thought the recession was over....wasn't that what we've been told...
The worst is yet to come now that everyone's unemployment benefits are ending...
