Assets Frozen While Fort Smith Pastor Under Investigation
I bet this gentleman also strongly advocated that congregation give 10% of their income to the church. He deserves so much compensation for doing "God's" work. He probably asked for more in the form of freewill and love offerings and gifts and just plain donations. He wants 15-20% of your money. I just bet on it. And probably would win the bet if some truthful member of the St James Missionary Baptist Church would be just that....truthful. just a scam, man....plain scam.

Whats the difference with his embezzlement or the televangelists?? The likes of Billy Graham, Swaggart, Roberts etc live large "working" for God. If one cares to contribute to them, which I wouldn't give them the sweat off my testicles. But there are many so ignorant people in the Christian world , so dumb, so easily influenced, that they give that seed faith money and /or believe that the 10% tithe is mandatory (mandatory according to seminary teachings since 1902) and give on. What's the diff.... local thief or national TV thief. Its still robbery.

I could not agree more.

This reminds me of the Whirlpool mess.

What has happened to the government entities that are supposed to oversee crooks bilking older folks out of their life savings?

In this case it was a no-account, worthless, NOT a man of God, shicken chit.

Rev Don is just like Kemp and the rest. They deserve great compensation for their services. They are the appointed and annointed ones whom we serve. Dont any of us ever forget that.

Dont you know I was just joking?? The church and money is the biggest scam in history. Guilt people into giving money by intrepreting the Bible the way they want for their own selfish purposes. Do I believe in God and Jesus? Yes. Should a church be supported? Yes but not most compensation and to the degree that they( churches) want, especially when they say they want 10%...or more as the case may be.

Well, I thought that you must be kidding but there are so many weird people out here now days that I erred on the side of crazy. Sorry!

In my own defense I had just come from the Jonesboro AR forum where there are lots of crazy people so I was primed and ready.
