"Mushroom", all the citizens of Fort Smith appreciate your comments along with the poster "citizen" who listed the two links for FS and Jonesboro water quality.

Now that we see Jonesboro has better tap water, all we have to do is find out how they can produce quality water at a fraction of what it costs the FS citizens, many who have lost jobs or at least make less median income than the citizens of Jonesboro.

I've lived in many states over the years and I've got to say, the media here in Fort Smith is the worst I've ever seen.

and at the top of the steaming dung heap is the sh1t channel cluster, followed closely by 40/29.

but channel 5 and the newspapers too - all of it.

just look at what media outlets supported the food tax, and then ask yourself why people still watch or listen to them - on that issue alone.

So not only does residents of Jonesboro pay $51.24 a month less for the same water,sewer and sanitation services, they pay less in sales tax and the drinking water may be safer?

PJ could be the official greeter for the mentally ill homeless campus medication wing. Everyone has an intrinsic attribute from which to contribute to the community. PJ can relate to the medicated. At least he got it half right, the homeless part is not in his resume.

The mayors home is beautiful. He and his wife were both very successful business people prior to their retirements. They worked very hard, saved their money well, invested wisely and planned for retirement. They are a model for everyone that wants to know how to be comfortable in their golden years. They are the perfect example of American capitalism at work.

my guess is that sanders is getting a few extra slices of the pie!

Apple pie and the American dream. The mayor and his wife were very wealthy people long before he took office. His former home was very beautiful also.

the mayor was a low level manager for a company that had many labor problems in fort smith prior to his politicial life in fort smith. not a whole lot of opportunity to save there until he got involved in land deals at chaffee. his wife worked for the university in fort smith with no big buck paid there, so where and when was the wealth gathered?
