i think its stupid to write an article about an earthquake that happened over a hundred years ago just because it happened on april 18th. i'm trying to write a current events paper for school and see this and think it might be somewhat interesting until i find out that it happened in 1906... i honestly dont think anyone would care about this and sorry for being a little pissed off.

True but go ahead and write the paper on the future earthquake in San Fransisco just like the History channel or what ever channel does that stuff like when the icebergs melt. The liberals will love it and you will probably get an " A " They love that wiping out society stuff.

i THINK THE sAN FRANCISCO EARTHQUAKE IN 1906 WAS A SCARY one. oNE POLICE OFFICER SAID IT sounded like a roaring sea. I am curious what brings this roar of winds or what causes when their is an earthquake. last night in the capital of San Jose their was gushing winds and cause many windows to sound, i thought it was goint to shake. But in the afternoon their was this tremor that was felt in San jose and other parts of the country. In the news they said it was 5.1 in the richter scale. my question is what causes this gushing wind and then it shakes.

If you saw the headline and didn't realize that the article was talking about an event in 1906, then you are ignorant and obviously need to study more history.
