The neighborhood contact list was last updated in April 2008. I got a bounce-back message saying my message was undeliverable when I sent an email to the one for my neighborhood. If there is no current contact for a given neighborhood then they should delete the obsolete email addresses instead of trying to look larger in scope than they really are.

Their website is an illusion, set up to gain non-profit status. It's bogus. Notice how many pages are "under construction." geeeze

I heard from a reliable source, the solicited nominations for the award.

Can you name even two things they have done they can call their own besides support the party ordinance? One?
1) shooting at Ocean Street bar - organiser from Oakland was brought by Neighbours to Santa Cruz to tell us what to do- 1 month later: bar closed.

2) Killing at alley- carports closed, blood cleaned up- no more meeting place/hangout.

3) Constant graffiti- got neighbours and city together for a massive trash cleanup- big dumpsters towed to Barson Street & removed tags

4) cleaned up that church on Broadway

meeting/speakers set up. But that was only Lower Ocean; so maybe you have the right assumption- maybe they all are questionable.

That's the work of the group NOLO (Neighbors of Lower Ocean) who formed long before SCN.

Daily Horoscope for December 15

Libra

You know what they say about this being the season of goodwill to all men? Well, you get the chance to put it into action today by being understanding, tolerant and compassionate towards the people you meet. This doesn't mean you should condone anything awful that they do, but simply that you need to look beyond that to the larger picture.
