Lyn Rubenstein & Associates is a true joke......Exactly what FYI said is absolutely the truth. She goes through employees and clients like wasted paper. She doesn' t pay her employees what they are due. She only has two reporters who works for her and the people who run her office are pitiful. The doors on this buisness should be shut

I have seen it first hand the things that go on in that office and how many people she has simply decided not to pay for their work. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this woman and her company, I see nothing good that could come out of you hiring Lyn Rubenstein or working for her.

Do not use this court reporting firm, they have inexperienced reporters right out of school, have people editing and putting together transcripts that were hired with no experience and make numerous errors on their reports. Their billing practices are also the worst in the city.
Also do not work for Lyn Rubenstein, she does not always pay you for the jobs that you do for her. |

1 These things are absolutely not the truth about this firm. Lyn Rubenstein is out to deceive all who will beleive her. We were in this office a couple of months ago and it is small, smelly and messy. Please do NOT allow this woman to deceive you as she did our firm.......... |

I absolutely agree with everthing I have read about this company. The office is a disgrace, the reporters have no experience, except for what they learned in school, and Lyn Rubenstein herself is no where to be found in that office, instead you have to deal with a bunch of kids who really do not have a clue what they are doing. The transcripts are edited and put together by someone who has never done this before and were not trained properly.

Provided this agency with both videoconferencing and videotaping services. After almost 4 months had rec'd no payment. Finally got two payments equaling about 60 percent of what she owed. Never paid the balance. Had to put her in collections but I doubt i will see the rest.

her reporters are all inexperienced and right out of school because no one else will work for her because she does not pay her reporters. I am still trying to collect for a deposition that I took in July 2009. I am told almost every week that its in the mail. they are very unorganized and like to give out a lot of excuses. I have been lied to over and over and over again!
