Finding a JOB

Why don’t we pass along any local jobs openings on this site? If you have any jobs open at your office, factory or job site, list it and maybe help someone in Lincolnton find a job.

I wasn’t looking to replace the ESC, Craigslist, helpwanted.com or even the local paper. Mom and Pop operations don’t go to the ESC to post jobs. What’s wrong with getting a heads up on company X firing 3 people for smoking weed on the back dock? I was just starting a thread that might help someone out.

I haven't heard of anyone getting fired this week.

Maybe Bruce Cochran is looking for people at the furniture plant.

I have a few realitives who use to work for Cochran long ago but and they are only in their 40s and 50s now. They have reapplied and talked personally with people at Cochran but havent got any call backs. I think, this may be one of those who dont really hire that many people only what they need and nothing more.

In my store openings thread I pretty much hope to do just this and give people an idea of whats suppose to be opening what should be opening and maybe get a heads up on the applying before the place is actually built. Because in some cases you dont apply at the new location you apply at different location and the time it takes to go over everything and what not your name is already in their mind.
