What a lame article about the lamest of all American pasttimes - the greedy rush to buy a bunch of crap made in China to show others you love them.

I don't "do" Christmas and my bills throughout winter remain exactly the same as they do the rest of the year. And no one likes me more or less because of it - imagine that! What a pointless, overhyped waste of time and money.

I swear, if everyone dropped this annual crap and actually did something WORTHWHILE for their family, their neighbors, or their community it would mean so much more.

"Oh, a purple spiked vibrating massage ball gift-wrapped from Target. Thanks for thinking of me, I always wanted one."
Work where others play: Research on the Internet for seasonal jobs in National Parks, ski resorts, cruise ships and other similar places.
Seriously? Did Brooke really come up with this crap or is it some random cut/paste action? What average Las Crucen is in the position to take a seasonal job aboard a cruise ship?

Well, with all this talk about Santa's sack, he might want one of those purple spiked vibrating massage balls gift-wrapped from Target.

Also, you can get a nice job on a ship if you can deal cards or play the sax.

No one in Las Cruces can do those things, but there is hope! A white smile, big brown eyes, and a healthy set of double-dees will get you across the ocean and back!(Only applies to those young ladies who have not yet reproduced). Bon voyage, mis amigas!

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Cancer

If you thought yesterday was fraught with tension the temperature rises a few notches again today, as Mars turns retro in your house of finances and values. What's eating you? Maybe you're annoyed because your spare time is being eroded by duties that are weighing heavily on your shoulders. You might also be miffed by the flippant attitude of a certain person who you think should be taking life a lot more seriously. Calm down or you'll blow a gasket.
