San Onofre power plant is vulnerable

We read the news Feb. 1 that a nuclear power plant, which is located in north San Diego County, might have leaked a small amount of radiation.

The San Onofre nuclear power plant is “protected” by a very small sand beach and a 3- to 4-foot cement wall. The wall is, of course, inadequate. An earthquake or a tsunami can cause serious damage to the nuclear power plant.

The Camp Pendleton Marine training base is located next to the San Onofre nuclear power plant. There, thousands of U.S. Marines (our finest fighters) are trained at Camp Pendleton.

People who planned and executed the Sept. 11 attacks are equally capable of planning and wiping out Camp Pendleton. They will use the San Onofre nuclear power plant as a weapon.

It looks like this idiot sends his stupid letters to the DR too. San Onofre has be operating for a very long time with no major problems. Terrorists are capable of taking out anything if they are smart enough.

This sounds like the kind of situation that would call for the use of the nuclear plant cloaking device, better known as the Target Intercept Nuclear Force Object Intense Layer (TINFOIL).

However to speak of it further would give away secrets.

San Onofre ought be decommissioned and converted into a Hooters Restaurant for 2 big reasons...

Oh, Lord. Does this guy know how many jobs those power plants produce at exceptionally good pay? So what if there is a little leak? lol..

Many years ago I worked with a lot of petroleum engineers in the Ventura and Santa Maria areas who also knew a lot of nuclear engineers who were involved with the construction and start up of the Diablo Canyon nuclear plant. On many occasions we would all meet for drinks and routinely the nuke guys would tell us that we were crazy for working in the oil patch because it was just way too dangerous. They would rather be confined in their nice safe nuclear plant.
