Those 1.4% of Americans ALSO get the tax cuts up through $250,000.

Yes, 401K plans are defined contribution retirement plans versus defined benefit retirement plans like the traditional pension. Defined contribution places the risk on the employee. Defined contribution places the risk on the employer.

This is why people are alarmed that health care might go the way of the traditional pension and that includes Medicare according to the Ryan Plan that Romney adopts as his own instead of RomneyCare.

Ryan/Romney wants to provide X amount of dollars to seniors on Medicare. If that is insufficient, and of course it is, to purchase private, individual insurance from Aetna, BlueCross, etc. then the seniors go without health insurance.

Medicare OTOH is a health insurance company owned by the American People. It covers all seniors either pretty much for free based on what we contributed in the past or at a reasonable monthly premium rate if we did not contribute enough in the past.

Medicare runs at 3% overhead. Even with the new restrictions of ObamneyCare private insurance companies have 500-700% more overhead. They used to have as much as 1500% more overhead plus they order doctors around and deny the health care they were contracted to provide.

Go ahead. Go to your local senior citizen coffee club and ask about the Ryan plan. Take a body guard with you. Even the idiots of the TeaBagging mob love their Medicare and will fight the government for their government Medicare.
