My rights as a citizen is that if I was arrested, I'm innocent till proven guilty. If we allow social media & the UPD to prejudge in the public eye there is no justice served especially when one dictates who gets posted & not posted on thier FB. Who is allowed to comment & not. I'm sort of torn by this because perhaps It will detour people from committing crimes...However, we are supposed to be innocent until proven guilty, but I feel like we are GUILTY until we can prove we are innocent and this UPD Facebook is just another example of how our system really works.

There are so many sex offenders on there it isn't even funny. While I like having the warnings and see the crime and criminals, it is sort of embarassing for the city. You are innocent until proven guilty....in a court of law.I love the fact that you can really see who the low life's are and you don't even have to go to the public court rooms anymore and watch then plead their sorry cases. I commend UPD for doing that and putting their agency out there like that to the citizens...it shows what low life's are really in the city and also how they are working hard. Go UPD!
