Told you North Utica and it's trailer trash is just as bad as cornhill for those who thought they were so immune and had this wonderful oasis to raise your kids. High taxes have led Utica natives to flee their own city and leave behind all the thugs and high school drops outs that stay behind and drink and do drugs with their parents most of which don't work. Well, they work but as thieves, pimps, prostitututes,and drug dealer. North Utica is not the best place to live as it is just as bad as the rest of Utica which is one big degenerative dump our politicians have turned it into.

Rome only has one murder every few years. Maybe I'll move there it's better than a murder every few months.

UTICA — Utica police early this morning were investigating the shooting death of a man who was found lying on a front lawn of a North Utica house Wednesday night.

A pedestrian found the victim, who has not yet been identified, lying in front of 725 Mapledale Ave. with a handgun at his side shortly after 9:15 p.m., police Chief Mark Williams said at the scene.

Police said they were not actively looking for any suspects, but that it was too early into the investigation to confirm if it was a suicide.

The call originally was reported as a person with a gunshot wound to the chest. After arriving, police scoured the nearby area as the victim was taken by a Utica Fire Department ambulance to a local hospital.

The front lawn was cordoned off with yellow police tape, and that portion of the street was closed to traffic.

Dozens of bystanders were at the scene, especially at the intersection of Mapledale and Elmhurst avenues, which was blocked off to traffic. The neighborhood is located in a housing development just northeast of Kennedy Middle School.

Most police units had left the scene by 10:30 p.m.

Did you just compare N Utica to Cornhill? That's funny! it's like comparing Lobster to Tuna Fish! N Utica is still the nicest part of Utica compared to West ,East,& even South Utica!

I read something that said near a housing development. It happened in a residential area at a house that has a wooded area directly across from it. As for Clinton, NY trailer trash: N. Utica is still a very nice part of the city. I understand that some establishment in Clinton was invaded by high school children that were acting like animals recently. Were any of these your children yours? Clinton High School is loaded with drugs. It is just kept hush hush by Clintonians.....Just so you know. It is true, our schools aren't the greatest and that is why I will be sending my child to private school, as I would also do if I lived in Clinton, NY. There is trash and drugs everywhere so come off your high horse and open your eyes.
