Incredible what they did to the inside with all reclaimed wood. Nice mix of steel, wood, ceramic. Very classy and done right.

I hope they've learned a thing or two since that awful inspection notice the Nail Creek pub got in the Rome paper. Disgusting even to read it.

From August: http://www.romesentinel.com/news... From July of 2010: http://romesentinel.com/dailynews/news... I don't know why the O-D (at least the online version) doesn't make inspection info available. I take this kind of stuff seriously. Hopefully they're being more careful in this new restaurant.

I hope this place does well. Utica should get and keep as many places like this as possible.

Are you kidding me its starting to look like a garage sale down there... Nothing nice about the place but polished steel, And some good elbow grease. They got lucky having the coffee shop there. That's the only business they needed there. What the hell. Serious, this is where they are hiding the grants. These city officials, are the true "garbage of the area", and they thought they were the ELITE. Well there's a new flame kindling, Right under their asses. I suggest you rotten backyard spoiled brats stay in the house for a few years until we clean your windows.

They put a lot of sweat and money into an existing vacant building in downtown Utica. How can you fault that ? This is what older cities need to stay alive. We need more young people to take stock in our city. I thank them and have and will continue to give my support by patronizing local business.

Also, how I'd love to see these new places put some of the beautiful Utica women in as daytime bartenders., with an affordable HAPPY HOUR. Then like the old days we could start at 3 or 4 o'clock and go bar hopping! With a DD ofcourse.

How funny, this place is a politician cover up. Or should I say ********* **** ******* *** ***** lol, this place is'nt to far from the rest of the pop-up businesses they need to show where the rest of the grants are. that's what this is all happening not to show they give a **** but to show they are doing something with the grants,,, lol you people are that ******** retarded. The FEDS are about to eat these small businesses up then destroy these wanna be NWO freaks. How funny.. A bunch of toy soldiers...

FYI, if any of you people knew anything, they received NO grants! They bought the building from the previous owner, which was not the city, its a great place with great values about using local foods, they will do well. Their menu is posted on their website, I've eaten there twice already, can't wait to go back to try something different. I realize in utica the ones that never left the area, never really lived, will still find something to complain about, you can never make them happy, hence the reason topix ,is a pool of filth.

How can u go bar hopping with the Cops up your ASS? Just sitting as usual to make a DWI Arrest. Too bad thats all they know how to do. I guess Maciol should work with them,Just another Air Head. The DWI will kill the businesses and tax revenue. The cops should do what they do best. Hide All night. Easy pay check.Utica cops just get beat up in Cornhill. They dont know to use their gun.

They built something and opened it by themselves. Not everything is a hexagonal conspiracy. I ate there the other night, did not have a reservation and had to wait a little while but it was well worth it. I saw Talgo getting dirty working in that place for months, he did a good job. Work on something yourself with no help and see how no one has a right to talk sh#t.

It's not called a "grant" when you're dealing with urban renewal benefits. But I heard there is a big investigation going on having to deal with city officials and their friends and family.
