I don't know...not sure how this is going to help him with the two groups he needs to win over the most, that being women and Latinos. The Republicans had a good opportunity to take back the White House, but I don't see it happening. I think the Obama haters are going to have to deal with 4 more years. Just my opinion.

I totally agree. The lamestream media will roast him as being a budget cutter on the backs of all the welfare/food stamp recipients. He's a very smart, articulate guy whose very smart on the fed. budget and how to stop the bleeding of red ink. He's going to be labeled as a right-wing extremist whose part of the rich country club republicans. Heres one more tidbit...for a guy whose policies have ruined this country, Obama still has a solid 40-45% approval rating. Thats pretty good for a guy who only had 2 years experience as a Senator and a community organizer. Plus he and his co-horts will play the victim card as the mean nasty republicans picking on a small-town black boy who wants to save the country. You know the race card will be played big time. His hometown chicago thugs play the dirtiest of tactics when it comes to elections anyway

The election ended today. Americans will never choose someone who wants to take from the middle class and poor to give to the rich...its never been the type of people we are.

You expect the American people to ignore their policy positions because Biden has an occasional gaffe?

What about turning medicaid into a voucher program? Gutting social security? You don't think those programs matter to the American people?

What policy positions? Obama biden have no policy positions, they don't even have a budget. The only policy position you think obama biden have is sending you another welfare check. You sick leeches are destroying the country.

Nothing, but that is what you are afraid is going to happen if your patron saint does not get re-elected. You need your welfare to stay on your lazy azz and not get a job and you are afraid of losing it.

Romney/Ryan need to immediately go on the offensive and put some plans/ideas out there. Focus on what is going to be done. Stop defending what was done when in private industry, etc. Every time they throw that ignore the question and positively position your plans/ideas. Ryan is very good at that. So far this has been nothing but mud slinging. Chicago politics at its finest which is what Obama wants. Obama has done nothing in 3+ years. He is the only president in the history of the United States that has not signed a budget. Imagine that. The law requires one but he hasn't. All Obama wants to do is raise the deficit more and spend, spend, spend. We need less government intervention - we are becoming socialist and people don't even realize.

Congress has to first pass a budget for the President to sign one. I agree with firing any Congressman refusing to compromise which what our nation is built on.

Actually Obama want to cut the deficit which is why he demandedand signed into law the measure requiring mandatory across the board cuts if Congress didn't come to a compromise.

We are no more a socialist nation today than we were the day he took office. What programs implemented by Obama make is more a socialist state?

So you ask what programs implemented by Obama make us more a socialist state. Obamacare - do you realize now the govt can tell you that you have to do whatever and if you don't they can fine you just by saying it is a tax. The best one I heard was the guy checking out in the store. The clerk tells him what he owes. He pays and goes to walk away and the clerk says "you forgot to get the gum (or whatever)". The guy says "I don't want any gum" and the clerk says ok - "the tax will be $2.98".
I am not going to debate whether Obamacare is good or bad. The point is the govt is dictating which is not what our constitution is built on. We are suppose to be the land of the free yet the govt keeps passing more and more mandates.

I assume your silence is agreement Congress is responsible for passing a budget for the President to sign?

You can make the arguement any national healthcare is a form of socialism and I may be inclined to agree. That said, you seem smart enough to realize the American people were on the hook for the healthcare of those refusing to get health insurance whether most Americans realize it or not.

The constitution is only guide. I agree some mandates are not needed and a burden but healthcare is the least of such.

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Sagittarius

It's important to be discriminating about what you say and believe today. That's because communications are rather strange, with people saying or doing odd things and plenty of scope for crossed wires. Be very careful if you're attending to important details because for some reason your brain may switch off at the vital moment, leaving you prone to making mistakes or losing track of what you're doing. Try to double-check anything important tomorrow when your brain is back in gear.
