heard through the grapevine that the young redhead officer was forced to resign. anyone else heard? If so ,what was the reason? Probably Grant Parish politics, even Georgetown also.Well now all of the dopeheads around that end of the parish came run amuck now,since he's no longer working there. They won't have to worry about the former chief, I had heard through the grapevine,that he turns the other cheek, what no harm ,no foul? I guess that Georgetown will become the methhead capitol of Grant Parish. Don't want to leave out the other weekend officer,maybe he won't total out another patrol car or shoot out the windshield whlie playing "QUICKDRAW McGRAW".I hope he doesn't get excited and shoot someone accidently during a stop.Did notice a new face while passing through Georgetown the other day,a new guy in the Charger patrol car,it wasn't the chief,and I have hardly seen him around patrolling,hmmmm.

Well the deal with John Barnard is that he has a full time job and three part time jobs and had to let one of them go, so he turn in a letter of resignation so he will have more time off with his family. Your getting politics confused with rumors. And for Earl he is a great leader and has helped numerous people through the community. And as for the knew guy he has made over 15 DRUG arrest last month and I have made 14 DRUG arrest allready this month so if your not seeing me or him its probably a good thing. We have also made three arrest in conjuction with a methamphetamine lab in Georgetown last week along with a half pound of marijuana and numerous other pills and paraphernalia, so I really dont believe Georgetown will become A meth capital. I have an open door policy if you have any questions you should come see me. I really want people too know what we are doing. I have heard alot good imput from the community and this was the first negative one, but i want to hear that too if I dont know I can't fix it. But the stuff your hearing is rumors. We have a the greatest little town in louisiana I really believe that. Myself along with the Mayor and Council are just trying to improve on excellence.

Question,will the speed limit through the corperate limits of Georgetown be raised to 55mph?Since there will be two lanes of travel in each direction. Or will it be another opportunity for more speeding ticket revenues after the new section gets finished? Glad that my junker that runs on half the cylinders can't do more than 35mph.

Okay, if there are real drug busts going on in Georgetown, then why is there a just released person from a Rapides Parish Methlab raid in Kolin, now is back around Georgetown metro area, in a shotgun house at the back of a cow pasture. I think the color of the house is gray. No electricity or water service, must be a hideout. He's been in trouble with the law numerous times,even stealing neighbors gasoline. He's even probably cooking there also since it's in an isolated place. I know it's not in the city limits, but what's stopped the former chief from going out to "Code four" a complaint in Selma? Hmmmm.

I think they are doing a fine job. Keep up the good work! I am so proud to have such fine Christian leaders in our community, not only to serve and protect, but to be a positive influence on our children. Thank you guys!!!!
