It is a big mistake to assume PSP are sitting in the station like firefighters when the call comes in. Chances are, one are more are not far away from any given location in the county when the call comes in.
This place needs shut down if it's not secure. I've been in gun shops which are block buildings with steel doors and bars over the windows. That's how gunshops should be.
How often have you been to Ft. Loudon? I grew up here, and live here currently. It is very, VERY rare the state police are "in the area". It is a rare occasion that they get here in decent time too. And if they are called, they are usually seem fairly pissed that they had to drive clear out here. Now, on a blue moon, one will drive through. And if they do happen to get here in decent time, they are usually patroling St. Thomas trying to catch speeders at the bottom of the hills between oak forrest and where the old market building/pizza shop sits, or happen to catch them during another call. They have alot to deal with in chambersburg, the butthole of the county. I think maybe they should expand mercersburg polices jurisdiction, would make more sence.
