Wiley gets sentenced for child porn

Sad. Why did the DA drop some of the charges if this was as bad as Borg claims? He is nor being honest here somehow. I will bet our miserable DA drops charges on sex crimes against children all the time. We need a new DA. How many sex offenders are getting home detention!

YES, we NEED a new DA! ASAP!

I'm appalled at this outcome. For a felony charge this man only gets 120 days which he can be in his own home while serving, and 3 yrs probation. What kind of punishment is this? The courts are always taking cases and using them to set examples, why not this one? If any this one should have been!

Offenders like Wiley usually don't stop at kiddie porn! As a one-time children's advocate, the offense makes him all the more slimy. What's next with this pervert? And the DA... that's the best he could do? OMG! A week ago in Portland, Oregon a homeless sex offender murdered a 16-year old girl in a vacant lot. Is that what it will take to wakeup the DA?

How do we do a recall on this clown? Does anyone know the process?

I am outraged! Lake County is definately going down the tubes.....what the heck is going on? Why aren't more residents upset by the DA's ruling??? I'm in agreement Josn. Don't know the system on recall, I'm sure someone does or District Reps. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!!

Out with our bad DA. This man is a plague on our county. He makes Lake Count a joke to others. We need to evict this DA from our county.

What does it take for women and children to be safe in Lake County, or any where for that matter? It just doesn't seem right that just because a person has no priors, the outcome even when convicted is a light sentence. Registering as a sex offender doesn't stop said sex offenders from committing more crime on the innocent.
So, what can we do?

Isnt it interesting how the judges and the probation department took themselves off this case but the DA did not.

The outcome is way too lenient. He was a county attorney tasked with protecting children, a severe factor in aggravation. He should have received a prison term of at least 16 months.

Agreed, politics stink! Seems to be getting worse here in LC (or maybe because of Wiley and Dinius currently). I do not think the end is near however....way too pessimistic.

YUP, he should've been handed at least 16mos. term. The "protector" of children is a sexual deviat (sp?) and only gets a slap on the wrist, UNBELIEVABLE!

How come the DA did not argue for prison. He was ok with house arrest. I agree with the people who say we need a new DA in our county. This district attorney lets people who harm children go free and then tries to send people to jail who have not done anything wrong. There is a lack of justice here and it is the fault of the DA who just rolled over and let home detention be imposed.

We need to Fire/Recall most of our Judges, DA, Sheriff, etc in this County... They let this Perv get away with this, even with the scum being so brazen as to wear his kiddie porn flash drive around his neck (he should have been choked with it!).. but then charge a poor sailboat operator with murder when a Boat Cop in a Power Boat was the one who ran the sailboat over! And the Deputy gets away with it all! What is wrong with this Picture??????
