Supervisors need to step up

Full story: San Bernardino County Sun

The system is not working. County supervisors have been quick to claim credit for investigations into misconduct and fraud in the Assessor's Office under former Assessor Bill Postmus, but they're conveniently ignoring what should have been obvious to them long before the 2007-2008 grand jury rubbed their noses in it.

Unfortunately, Derry is in just as deep as the rest...kind of asking the Fox to set up who watches the Hen house...that outcome is never good. They are all on attack mode trying to save themselves from a sinking ship that should have gone down long ago. I am just waiting for those in the City of Upland to be exposed...they should be coming up next and what a can of worms that will open up.

these supervisors are children that fallow the example set for them by their parents in washington. its clear to see that postmus besides being one time chair of the county supervisors and then county assesor also was head of the inland empire reublican party.in other words a political boss holding closely to the examples of george bush, dick cheney, and karl rove,of hiring every fellow republican flunky regardless of their qualifications to important county posts that they had no business or experience in. all were conducting party business on tax payer time which is a crime but in my view only a drop in the bucket compared to this colonies fiasco that all of the supervisors had a hand in. there are i'm sure more skeletons in the closets of postmus and the rest of these supervisors.back room deals with charter schools and developers that would make our heads spin.infact the current supervisors are trying to minimize this postmus situation as much as posible because they are complicit in one way or another.politicians are becoming more and more like orginized crime figures in that if you dont have some dirt on you you wont be accepted in the club.this corruption is a cancer that is consuming us and for which there is no cure wether republican or democrat.

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Aquarius

Unfortunately it won't take much to get your wires crossed, especially if you're trying to keep track of your Christmas preparations. It's hard to work out what still needs to be done. A member of the family is away with the fairies or is being completely fanciful. It's a pest because that sort of behavior can make you feel anxious and harassed.
