Regarding the quote from the suspect's Mother, "He's a good boy, he made a mistake, we all do it"...Hey Mom----he MURDERED an innocent man. What are you smoking??? And he was in the Military, defending your sorry a**! That's not a mistake, that's a sin. You referred to him as a good boy....well good boys don't commit premeditated murder. I know she must be hurting right now, but the victim's family is hurting even more. Your son is still alive.

We're talking about a 26 year old man her. What are they going and bothering his mother for? She didn't murder anyone. Her son obviously went his own direction.

His mother agreed to speak out and I know she is just defending him. but....don't defend him. A family is planning a funeral right now...very sad.

We have all heard the saying;"A face only a mother can love". I n this particular instance, this is a crime that only a mother coould defend. What this thug did was rob a family of a man that loved him. A man that served his country in the United States Army. I have no sympathy for this thug.Make an example..Throw him under the jail and throw away the warden.Thugs like him should never see the light of day again.
I did not know the victim but I knew his family.God Bless you all.
