Hunky I has the most enjoyable afternoon/evening that I have had in a long time. Thank you so much for inviting me. The table setting and all was almost as beautiful and elegant as the hostess.

Well, even for me, that was a record. A 9 hour luncheon. Most remarkable, is that we could have continued on for another 9 hours and still not covered all there is to say and share. What a gift our friendship are. Hunky, your hospitality and table setting would make Martha Stewart proud. Cut glass water glasses and paper thin wine glasses. Fine china and fine linen. Wonderful food that just naturally complimented each serving. Even the ashtrays were pretty. And the flowers Giss brought just completed the perfect setting for a fellowship started with tragedy and continuing to a sense of peace and joy. We know that we are not alone in the sadness and problems that God has given us to strengthen us and quite possibly make a difference in this world. So many different opinions, politics, religions, backgrounds, educations, experiences, ages. And yet..........not a word of insult, judgment, name calling. Thank you Hunky for opening your home to us. Thanks to your husband for making us all feel welcome. Not every husband would be so hospitable to having *internet* people in his home. Your daughter is gorgeous and charming and made us all feel as though she has known us her whole life.
To you Giss---------I don't know that I have ever heard a voice as soulful and as powerful as your daughter's. Even today, I get chills hearing it in my head. I hope that you can give me a copy of her CD, as I would listen to it over and over.
I am taking my pictures in to be developed today. I'm so old fashioned, that I am probably the last person alive that uses a disposable camera. I will have copies made for all of us. I'm anxious to see the group pictures taken by the pool that Hunky's husband took. But, mostly, I want to see the pictures of Jen, looking surreal and biblical with her white robe and her Madonna smile. When my world is unraveling, when I am at my wit's end, I will always be able to conjure up the smile of peace and serenity that Jen has. We may have thought, originally, that we were a support group for Jen, but, she is a support person for all of us. Pure class. Jen is our gift from God. Praise be. So be it.

Queen of my heart-----what would we do without you to always be the one who drives 100 miles to pick up and gather in your arms those that want and need to be together. xxxooo

Starry, such a beautiful heart and soul that you have. I am so happy to have met you a to share the hugs of deep friendship that few are allowed in a lifetime.

You are so right about Jen and I was thinking of that on my way home. "Who could really look at her face and say such awful things about her?"

Queen was still driving late last night and that does not go unnoticed. Who would go out of their way to such wonderful things? Queen would and that is awesome.

OMG! The gift you gave me is so perfect! I love and am going to wear it all of the time. The color of passion with such beautiful meaning! Thank you so much, I will cherish it always.

Poor jealous toad. Hey, why don't you send us some pics of your emaciated cold-blooded self? Now that would be funnnnnny.

You can't help but to antagonize us, can you. Sad.

This original thread comes up Jen, if you have saved in in your *favorites* or *bookmarks*. It is not showing up if a person just goes into Akron Topix. I guess the little Hershey elves want the thread eliminated. They are so scared about our get- together yesterday. They think that by dismantling our thread, they can dismantle us. Poor poor fools. Nothing can tear apart the friendship and the love we have for one another. It transends Topix Hershey Bars.

hi sisters!!! dont know why my last post was deleated. but it was a great time yesterday. to bad it had to end. i must echo the same sentiments as the rest of the sisters. which i tried to do in my earlier post. thanks to everyone for such a great day. all though i think none of us wanted it to end. so glad you finnally made it to one of our get togathers giss, you are truely a gem. and maybe with the sisters help we can encourage your daughter into doing some thing with her gifted voice. queen we should nickname you the queen of hearts. thank you for driveing miss daisy around. lol. please for give me for keeping you out so late last night. appolazise to hubby for me as well. hope hes feeling better. thanks hunky for opening your home and heart to us all. your familly is simply the best as well. tell our newest sister i said hi, and send my love. what a great addition to the group as well. wish you would of relaxed a bit more than you did. i felt bad about that. next time try paper plates and cups. it would of been just as great. and a lot less work. aaahhh starry, i am telling you it was just the reflectin of the light and the fact that i was relaxed. you all are truely special and i am blessed to have you by my side always. as you can tell by the reviews it was a smashing sucsess. love yas all much. and hope today is just as good as yesterday was. take care my sisters and may god bless you all. mom.

Thank you all for yesterday it truly was a wonderful time. As far as the driving goes, I love driving so there really was no effort there. I am very happy to be the driver, believe me. Where we going next? Our get togethers are as relaxing as a little vacation. Not to mention productive. See you all soon. With all my love.

I'm hoping our next get together will be at Hunky's, sometime in September, before she closes the pool. It can be our last summer harrah. Mid winter, it shall be at my house. My home is a good winter/fireplace hunter green kind of place. Instead of wrapping ourselves in towels, we'll just wrap ourselves in blankets and shawls. One thing I know for sure-----Hunky needs to make her now famous, chicken salad. Jen's boss needs to make her now world famous pasta salad. We must make a point to have a summer, autumn, winter, spring gathering of the hearts of sisters and mothers. We can accomplish so much with our solidarity and love. Next time, we should all bring a candle. We will light it for our children, blending the flames.

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Cancer

Be careful today Cancer, because your emotions could cloud certain issues as they often to and leave you feeling confused. You should be especially wary of believing what you want to believe, rather than believing the evidence in front of your eyes. It's easy to kid yourself now about someone's motives or reliability, even if deep down you know that you're telling yourself a load of old twaddle.
