For your information if you had read what I wrote you could have comprehended that I stated he prints the Watchman and never said he was a journalist!
if you must know I have a lot to do unlike you I look on the forum for important things like Ralph Hinkle's services but I see where you gossip and have nothing better to do. Get a life!
Have a great day!

My 2 cents wrote:
Notice that the paper never fails to mention when Rod Mohler's little league team does anything. Don't get me wrong with part of that. I love Little League & think it is awesome. But I believe the coaches get listed every time just so Rod's name can be there.
Most of the "news" in the Watchman is submitted by readers. So get off the Mohler's asses for putting their little league stuff in there. If you want to see your little league stuff in there or whatever, then submit it. There is no true staff of reporters who go out and cover these stories.

with the interesting stuff you people write about in monroe county i am surprised you have a paper the gossip is so bad on this page it may be a blessing not to have a good reporter, may some of you citizens should get togather and change some things on your own it is a beautiful area i am sure you could do better

Obviously, you have nothing better to do than pretend you know what your talking about. You, sir, don't even know what journalism is (yes, I ended the sentence with a preposition). If you did, you wouldn't be reading the Watchman.

I appreciate the attention paid to appropriate grammar regarding the ending of a sentence with a preposition. But the use of "your", when the contraction "you're" (for you are) should have been used, disappoints. But surely few readers noticed this.

Regarding the journalistic quality of the Monroe Watchman ... I find it well-suited to thwarting weed growth in garden beds and even more useful when wrapping dead fish.

I predict the Monroe Watchman will be published for many years after the New York Times is just a memory. The Watchman serves its purpose.

I read it every week, have for decades, and hope to do so for a few more. Those who do not like the Watchman should ignore it. No one will mind.

I think Lynn Guy should be on thier payroll. Years ago I went to speak to her about a "school" matter and she told me she had 2 minutes because she was writing her article, I left and I wont tell you what I thought about her position as superendant of schools or of her personally. this took place at the BOE office.

If they would put a little news in the paper along with the other stuff it would be worth reading. Things like the sheriff giving tickets to people riding their golf carts or 4 wheelers on the side streets of UNION. I think it is LEGAL but the paper should tell the people of UNION if it is. Or about the sheriff making mistakes on tax tickets and people have to hire Mr. Pritt or Mr. Bryan to rep. them. Or telling the people of MONROE C. about one guy at the tax sale trying to pay the taxes on a farm that the sheriff called him at 4 P.M. the evening before the sale. I heard at the tax sale that this guy had already tried to pay before and the sheriffs office had told him that they had been payed by the previous owner. Or news that would help our little comm. to be better . But I guess If you get in a rut and just keep a low non-contraversial outlook then you will not step on any toes or make anybody mad. Boy we people in MONROE Co. sure do not want anybody mad at us. MANUP MONROE WATCHMAN and get some balls!!!!

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Sagittarius

Mercury turning retrograde in your house of finances carries a rather unseasonal message, because it's telling you to pay attention to your finances over the next few weeks. If you already know that you've overspent this month, you won't need to be told that a few economies are just around the corner. Get the facts straight and pay attention to the small print. You may also have to make some adjustments to an intimate relationship so it can move into another phase.
