What is the update on this trial?

This doctor has 4 foster children living in his home, please let us know the outcome!

Does anyone know the outcome of this trial? Like others, I'm concerned about the outcome of this case.

Hi there. I like all of you am trying to get any info. on this trial. I will share with you what I know as of today 3/9/06. Yes Dr. Marc Zackheim does still own Associates In Clinical Psychology. It is a group home for troubled boys ages 12 and up. The people who currently run the place have confirmed this. I guess he still can own the place (and others) until he is proven guilty. What is this world coming to? I AM CONCERNED FOR ALL BUT MOSTLY BECAUSE MY SON WAS ALMOST PLACED THERE!!

Unfortunately, for the children involved, they had no choice, in their selection for so called therapy. How lucky for you that your child escaped his madness.
Talk about the damage being done in the field of Psychiarty, and to all the legitimate Specialists in that field. Hopefully, he will get more then a slap on the wrist and be put away for the harm he has inflicted on these innocent children.Providing of course all the facts are factual and Justice is served. It's sad to think that the damage done to the victims, is so horrendous.
All we can do is wait for the verdict, and hope that everyone involved will benefit with the results.

I was just wondering if any more news has been heard about the verdict? Does anyone know?

I have met him and been to their home. It is sickening. His "children" are little robots. Very timid, and they obey his every word. The trial has been postponed for many reasons. And yet the boys are still with them. I've called the prosecutors office in Marshall county quite often to hear the outcome, and it is infuriating that it has not happened yet! I know the justice system is sometimes slow, but if he was a traffic violator or a speeder, it would have been over with by now...

I used to work with this doctor years ago. I can't imagine that this si accurate, but if it is true it certainly should have been resolved long ago.

It seems clear that these 4 kids (the foster children) are in a perilous situation. btw the wife of this Marc Zackheim is Vicky Zackheim who perpetrated a notorious hoax a while back, soliciting donations for a nonexistent disabled child- the story of this hoax has been made into a film starring Robin Williams as Armistead Maupin, a California author who was taken in by the hoax (Oprah Winfrey also fell for it). How the authorities in Lake County IL (where Lake Bluff is located) can allow these kids to stay in that house with these two obvious predators is incomprehensible.

Leave it to the justice system to elay and postpone the trial of this sick man! meanwhile, traffic offenders and (God forbid!) homeowners that are in violation of a building code are dealt with swiftly! What sickens me, is seeing him and the boys shopping at the local grocery store. Those poor kids are so timid and mousy. And he strikes up a conversation with me every time he sees me. I have been avoiding him since I first read about it over 1 year ago! The boys were pulled out of public school almost a year ago and are home schooled now! Prisoners in that house.
