Notre Dame Blame Game Week 11
Blame Preview=Cheap Helmet Paint

The online world is abuzz at the impending detachment of Charlie Weis from his position as leader of the greatest football team in the world-Notre Dame by the Lake.
Another 2009 loss to casual arch rival Pitt would, or could be the last straw for ND Nation.

ND does have a tradition of winning on the road-away from the pressure and fantasy hype surrounding Notre Dame Stadium aka The Alice Palace.

Weis is moving forward and refuses to reflect on getting smashed by Navy and their triple option offense, and finely tuned defense. It’s clear Weis wasn’t ready for Navy, and the performance of his squad showed such. Weis’ monstrous ego led him into a trap that his team was going to have a “field day” against The Midshipmen.

During the Navy game-thanks to excellent NBC-TV camera work-golden paint was flying off the “hats” of the Fighting Irish during this contest. It appears ND is using cheaper paint possibly due to cost cutting measures by the ND administration.

The heavy cheap paint could be adding extra weight causing players to perform slower. Plus cheap paint fumes might cause ND players to lull into a semi-stupor during game time.
