What do you guys think about the Union City Police Department in what kind of a job they do. Lets keep out the immature comments like "f--- the police" or "popo" this, and "popo" that. Lets try to be civil here.
Any comments?

I was a victim of police brutality by one Union City police officer, but there was another police officer who arrived after the brutal incident who treated me kindly so I would say there are bad cops and good cops in the Union City Police Department. The reason I know there are more bad cops in Union City than the one experience I had is because my son was also a victim of police brutality by Union City cops. Don't know the names of the bad cops who injured my son, but I do know the name of the officer who injured me and I know the name of the nice officer too. I will not open my door to Union City police officers unless I called for the police.

Every time a crime occurs in my neighborhood it seems that half the police force arrives. On Sunday, while I was hoeing my lawn a seventeen year old boy hid on my property from the police. However, the police car arrived five seconds afterward in front of my property to arrest the boy. It was scary because the cop drew a gun and a tazer pointing at the boy, but fortunately the cop did not use either weapon. I was glad that no police brutality was involved.

The Union City Police...are horrible. I know at least some of them lie through their teeth. In my experience it was the younger guys that beat me to unconsciousness. I was not drunk , on drugs, misbehaving, and they beat me when I weigh 118 lbs and was in a bikini. They knocked me down by kicking my shins so I fell on my face. They stepped on my face and hog tied me with my legs and arms tied behind my back. They drug me and dropped me several times while I was crying hysterically. I was visiting my brother and his apartment pool closed at 10 p.m. and it was half after. When I was at the police station they made me take a pregnancy test and a drug test, neg. for both. They told me that no such town existed, I am from further North, that I was making up the name of a city. I suspect if I had been pregnant, I would have lost baby-that would be a big law suit. I urinated blood for 3 days, I was beat so bad. I later found out, that another group at the apartments had been giving them trouble, so they assumed I was "that group". What a nightmare. They charged me with assaulting a police officer and with assaulting one or more police officers! Charges were dropped and my blackened bikini, stained with asphalt and torn from being drug around on my stomach WAS MIRACULOUSLY MISSING, they just couldn't find that evidence. The tests "never existed". I was hit by more than 4 men with nightsticks at one time. I never ran, I never even thought of running. I thought they would talk to me-maybe give a ticket for the after hours swim. What goes around comes around. They will beat others for no reason, yes I know they deal with a lot of awful people..but maybe a high school degree or GED isn't enough education to tell the difference between a serious offender and someone in a pool a half hour after pool closes. To this day I cannot squeeze a fist on either hand and the bones ache during winter. It's all on record so the next time they do this in this way, hopefully the record will indicate this isn't the first effort of misconduct. BTW the Fremont police were called on the Union City by a bystander that saw me being beat. Fremont woman cop stood back and told the other cops she didn't want to be a part of what the Union City Cops were doing. Union city cops need some EDUMACTION!!!!!!!!! So sit in stew in your own karma.

I think it is great to see people fabricate their stories about the police. They probably were not the best behaved and ended up having to pay for it. I have had nothing but great experiences with the Union City police department, maybe it is because i'm not a criminal and I like to think rationally. Those guys are good guys.

After trial I am going to sue the police for my permanent injuries.

People don't fabricate stories about the police. It's the police who fabricate stories and frame innocent people like me with false charges. It's about time the truth be told and I'm the one to do it when I testify at trial. It's the "good guys" who are going to pay for it when I sue them for false arrest and police brutality.
