I just wonder what you would do or what your attitude would be had you been born a mexican or an african or an asian. You are not in their shoes and you know nothing about their circumstances. Why don't you live and let live? jAre they taking food off your table?? |
|
|
In a way, yes they are taking food off of my table. My tax dollars (all of the American tax dollars)pay for those food stamps and as I see it the federal deficit is at an all time record high. Who is going to help pay off this debt? If we keep giving benefits to those who don't contribute, those of us who do contribute to the tax system will continue to be taxed even more, meaning I'm taxed more and thus I have less disposable income to put food on my table. Nothing is really free, we all pay for it in the end.

Things are always changing, so you had better hope you or your family are never in need of food stamps or government assistance. Only when one is personally affected does one see things differently. |

Im mexican but my parents worked their a** off and came here legally back before 1984 and i was born here. They paid their taxes and became fine U.S. citizens. Ive been in their shoes. They just disrespect our laws and think they can live for free without paying a dime living on welfare driving brand new cars with rims is outrageous. |

Just to clarify, I respect those Mexican Americans that came here legally, work hard, respect and contribute to their community. Like in all of society, a few bad apples ruin it for the rest!

I do as well Im half mexican and half white. But i have total disrespect for those that break the law. |
I will nor longer comment on this, as it is an ever-ending subject. You've made your point. I know this can get nasty and people can be hurt by insensitive hurtful comments. It's not worth it to me. |

Judged: 3 Well I was with my husband- not an illegal 15 year- old Mexican who sleeps around! I was just saying the system is messed up and it is the hard working middle class who is suffering for it! I am tired of paying so much money in tax dollars when we are so over budgeted! I say get rid of all assistance! Make people get out there and earn some money! It would cut down on drug use and stuff! |

Judged: 1 Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God’s wrath on the wrongdoer. Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God’s wrath but also for the sake of conscience. For because of this you also pay taxes, for the authorities are ministers of God, attending to this very thing. Pay to all what is owed to them: taxes to whom taxes are owed, revenue to whom revenue is owed, respect to whom respect is owed, honor to whom honor is owed.3 |

Have been personally affected but was turned down because we were purchasing a older car instead of leasing one like the illegals do. Still in shock over this. Fell on hard times because of illness, ran out of short term disability, tip toed into the SRS office, told them our story, and YES WE WERE TURNED DOWN. So watch your mouth as you watch them carry out groceries bought with food stamps and put them in their caddy escalade with the fancy rims and popping out babies on our tax dollar at the hospital because they don't have insurance or skip out on the correct address, etc etc etc. Yes, I'm not prejudice, have close Spanish friends, but enough is enough. Sick and tired. So put your foot where your mouth is. The person that worked there explained the secret of getting free everything even at the MX AM Ministries and Loaves and Fishes. |
|
No they aren't taking food off my table. They are causing my medical care and insurance to be more expensive. They are breaking the laws of the US. They are free loading off the system. I have friends that were her on permanent green cards who studied hard, followed all the laws and became citizens. Don't give me that poor them crap! If they wanted to become legal citizens they could! |
