Please be sure you consider all the positive aspects of this event. Willits won't have many opportunities to host such an event. There are definitely some possible short-term negative impacts the event could impose on our little town but they are all temporary. But please consider the positive things that could come from this, including much-needed revenue to our local businesses.

Just in case some missed it the first time....

What a concept....hundreds of thousands perhaps a million ? of drug crazed, anarchist loving opportunistic drunks ravaging the north coast....the facilities... as they are... would be overwhelmed in the first few hours......perhaps minutes....think about it, hospital could be a riot scene folks looking for help or drugs...cops could declare Marshall Law after becoming overwhelmed with reports of trouble, Police shootings might become routine as panic and fatigue overcomes understaffed lawmen, public toilets could be unuseable and the country side and streets becomes the toilet.....a makeshift morgue at the community center and or the high school. Ordinary citizens having to protect their property anyway they can...out of control revelers shot dead in front yards...Willits folks have guns, most can and would use them to protect theirs....Willits water supply becomes a bath tub for the unclean....local food stores looted at will. Sexual assaults, over doses in the hundreds.....sounds crazy huh....?
Will this happen? hope not...but some of it could, after all Mendocino County is Mary Jane Inc. thanks to some local big shots and CNBC TV, that show was viewed all over the world.
Woodstock is a dream...it was a spontaneous happening at a special time in human social evolution, in other words, a fortuitous quirk of fate, not likely to happen again.
Keep this concert crap out of here!.....

I agree...this area can profit handsomely from this event.

What a joke; like Hwy 101 could even handle a Willits "Woodstock". It would be backed up to San Francisco and Oregon.

God, what a buch of morons. "oh think of the revenue". How about 'Oh think of the trafic, polution, theft, and insaficiant law inforcment'. The world isnt some giant hippy comune filled with altruistic beings striving for the whole. News flash the world is filled with oportunistic sheep that have no problem suspending social decorm for personal gain, and when our little town runs out of food and recourses (just like the original woodstock did) th sh*t of society that will flock to this avent will hit the fan.

It won't happen. Unfortunately it would have been fun to attend and be part of but the area can't support it and that many people. It has been fun to read all the scared responses from others though. I love the ones who make predictions and submit them as fact the most. You know..."if it happens this will happen and this will happen" and so on and so forth.lol Pure entertainment.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Libra

Someone is convinced they're in the right under the Lunar Eclipse, and they don't care how they get their point across. If there's trouble in your neighborhood, get it sorted out by putting your thoughts down in a blog, or on paper. Don't let anyone, even siblings, treat you like this, even if you balk at standing your ground under this moody cloud. Travel plans may be upset, and spiritual pursuits, and dealings with foreigners or people of other cultures is subject to pressure too.
