Growers: Your Booking Photo Here

So let me ask all of you "it is my right" growers. Do I have a right to sit in my house in Brooktrails and not smell pot? Drive around and listen for the dogs barking. Chances are if you follow the sound, you will find a pit bull or "American Bulldog" barking in the yard of a house that amazingly gives off a familiar odor. I have lived in Brooktrails for about 15 years. It was a quiet area with one or two places that grew. Now I drive from the bottom of Sherwood Road to my house on Primrose Drive. I smell the odor most of the trip home. Weekend mornings and late into the evenings, I get to listen to the dogs bark at the homes that no one seems to go in and out of very often. I don't grow. I don't smoke. I don't care what you do in your house. But when do your rights over ride my rights?

I suggest you talk to anyone of the CDF firefighter who fly the bomber or choppers - it's no myth. Over 25,000 seedlings were confiscated out in the Orr springs area in the early summer - was that a myth too? Ever done a fly over of the county? There are literally acres being grown in some areas, especially in the northern part of the county. I've seen spots out in Laytoneville that had foot-ball field sized patches with gigantic swimming pool-sized cisterns in the middle of them that get ignored every year. Every once in a while one gets busted, but for the most part they get ignored, and arrests are rarely made.

I do not think that a 1,000 plant or even a 100 plant garden is not commercial, but I think we should be going for the largest gardens first and not wasting our time busting people for growing 20 or 30 plants with a doctors recommendation. Unfortunately it would seem that people like yourself would rather harass your neighbors and go after medical and mom and pop type growers than actually doing anything that really addresses the problem of large scale commercial growing.

I have to put up with all the flowers in my neighbors yard giving me allergies every year. Every where I go people have those darn flowers in there yards. I spend a portion of my year sneezing almost constantly. Does that mean my rights are being violated? Also people have always had dogs, they have always barked, and pit bulls can be as kind and loving of a pet as any other breed. Get over your self.

Just loved Pinches and Colfax's response of how the county should be dealing with the 10,000 plant patches, instead of wasting time and money busting "mom and Pops" gardens.
Colfax relays that we should go back to reading the constitution. Pinches says that Measure G was to put the pressure on the large gardens, Measure B worries about the 6-25 plant gardens while 10,000 plant gardens are sucking the eel river dry, he says again " no I don't mean sucking the eel river down, I'm talking about these large gardens sucking the eel river dry". he futhers "were sitting here worrying about gardens of 6-25 plants while there are hundreds of 10,000 + plant crops"

If we're chastizing and alienating dope growers for their horrible drug we might as well throw in the Fetzers, the Parduccis, The Paulis and so on and so forth. You're talking about local growers ruining youth while the above named families, along with the Busch family back east and the Gallo family south of here, have lived prosperous lives making good old fashioned alchohol. Show me the numbers where marijuana causes more deaths or crime per year than alchohol and i'll kiss your a@@. Hell I'll kiss K.C. Meadows a@@.

Just wondering how many of these families gave their kids the keys to the Cellar and said drink... Many cases of unlabeled wine have been drank and found at many "underage" parties....

Think, why don't you? You said no 10,000 plant grows were busted and you just talked about a 25,000 plant grow that was. Make up your mind. And the 6,772 plant grow was a pretty good one. Lots of other big grows going down. All medical, right?
