A little light at the top of the basement stairs. Del Not will ride Bronc's success for a while since there's little else for them to cheer about.

Nothing associated with the pelicans except for your wise remarks. Maybe you're an inmate yourself that's proud of your true colors?
Bronc would tie you in a knot like the snot nosed little brat that you are.
Go Warriors.
Keep up the good work Roger

His coaches the Schaad brothers have done a good job with Bronk. It's all about who you have in the room to wrestle with you day in and day out. Last year having Young the 215 lb'r was good for both of them and he was back this year helping out, along with the coaches. It will definitely help for nationals. Good luck to all the Cali boys that go wrestle there.

Haha Hoops your comment epitomizes why Eureka sucks. You hate on a kid who just won back to back state titles, and then turn it into some kind of rant against how Del Norte isn't good at anything. It just shows how jealous you are, seriously. Del Norte has plenty to cheer about 20 yeah I said it 20 consecutive volleyball titles is pretty impressive. 3 of the last 4 Big-5/4 football titles with a WR headed to BYU and a QB headed to UCSB for pole vaulting. A baseball program back on the rise behind the leadership of Lorenzi. The basketball team even with an off year was able to remain competitive in pretty much every game this year and was fun to watch. So quit hating on some 18-year-old kid because you don't have what it takes to win anything in state, well maybe d*ckhead of the year but thats about it. Good riddance.

When a young man achieves something such as two state titles back to back that is enough for all of Del Norte County and Humboldt County to shout about. Given the weight class also this young man has a lot of potential to go even further...Lets everyone in California cheer him on...I live in the Bay area and dont know this young man personally but I am sure proud of him. Take it on home Roger!

Hey Goldenbear, I thought you said the only thing that matters is football. Amazing when your school finally wins something, it's such an amazing feat. Congrats to the wrestler.

Not only did he win two state championships, but he is a great kid with his head screwed on straight. Too bad the local "living wage" economy won't be able to keep a good kid with ambition interested for very long. I wish him the best.

Shout out from Sonoma County wrestlers to a great State champion!

It is such an accomplishment to get to State. Imagine over 400 schools having wrestling programs, with the powerhouse teams down around the center of the state. Even a State championship in a state like Rhode Island is a feat, but this- back to back in California- McCovey ROCKS. Well done.

We forgot to mention that the California Wrestler
forums are bringing up McCovey's name in the discussions about who is the "Champion of Champions". That means, not just the best in his weight class, but best of all wrestlers in the state. Again, congratulations.

He's the best in the entire nation sir. No disrespect but the kid has already leveled the entire west coast for the last 2 years. There shouldn't even be a forum about that. He's the best wrestler ever produced by the HDN, and one of the finest wrestlers to ever come out of the greatest state in the nation, California.

You are the one who is bringing disrespect and off topic comments. Your "place" does not seem like a very happy one.
Let's end this thing with the positive comments that are due to your wrestler. the last word is yours, make it a good one.
Adios for good.

Daily Horoscope for February 12

Scorpio

If you are still feeling depleted of energy, remember that it's always darkest before the dawn. During the last day of your low lunar cycle, find ways to refresh your soul. Buying fresh flowers for yourself is a wonderful pick-me-up, so is a treat from the local bakery. So often it is the little things that make all the difference. Give yourself permission to rest and relax today. Things liven up later.
