Anyone with half of a brain knows that ALL oil is dirty..........LOL

Nothing oslama the economy slayer con do to stop Canada from making trillions of dollars on their oil..........
He can't stop their economy from booming from it........
He can't stop the billions of dollars workers make every year working in the oil sands.

So oil is going to be coming out of Canada.......
Canada can ship it in the safest manor know to man by pipe line or oslama can force them to ship it the most risky way (by ship) and the way that burns the most fuel (by ship) and the cost least way (by ship)

So the bottom line is........

The USA can by the oil at a higher price after it is transported the most dangerous way real easing the most CO2 or..........
The USA can lower the price of gas by buying the oil cheaper.....
The USA can help reduce the pollution tankers make.
The USA could help prevent a oil tanker spill like the Valdeeze.

Or oslama can just screw the country over again.........For less than another year.....

Next January the pipe line will start construction..........LOL

And liberals actually like this..........LOL

As a result of the Obama’s job-destroying decision, Laborers’ union president, Terry O’Sullivan issued a blistering statement:

“The score is Job-Killers, two; American workers, zero. We are completely and totally disappointed. This is politics at its worst,” LIUNA General President Terry O’Sullivan said.“Once again the President has sided with environmentalists instead of blue collar construction workers – even though environmental concerns were more than adequately addressed. Blue collar construction workers across the U.S. will not forget this.”

The project would create thousands of good jobs at a time when unemployment in the construction industry is 16 percent with 1.3 million men and women jobless.

“The Administration and environmentalists have blown the whistle on workers trying to feed their families and keep a roof over their heads,” said O’Sullivan.“Instead of celebrating their victory by hugging a tree they should hug a jobless construction worker because they’re the ones who are going to need it.”

Since 2008, the Department has been conducting a transparent, thorough, and rigorous review of TransCanada’s permit application for the proposed Keystone XL Pipeline project…

For more than three years, the State Department has conducted its “transparent, thorough, and rigorous review.” However, apparently, the Obama Administration believes that three years wasn’t enough to be transparent, thorough, or rigorous enough.
As Forbes’ Christopher Helman noted in November:

In the process of selecting the proposed route, TransCanada plotted and studied 14 different pipeline paths and submitted 10,000 pages of environmental studies. They’ve already studied this thing to death.

What’s worse is the fact that Obama’s purely ideological decision does not serve the national interest at all. In fact, since China will be the likely recipient of the Canadian oil, in addition to the destruction of possible jobs, Obama’s decision harm—not help—the nation’s interests.

nObama is digging his hole veeeeeeery deep.

Treating Canada, our largest trading partner, next-door neighbor (or neighbour), most trustworthy longtime friend and ally in good times and Afghanistan, as if it can only sell all that oil to us instead of building a shorter pipeline to British Columbia and selling to -- wait for it -- China.

After all, who needs a secure energy source from a best friend when you can pay a fortune to buy it from unfriendly people in faraway unstable places?

Correct.....
Instead of putting Americans to work and moving the oil in the safest manor known to man oslama would rather the oil be loaded into foreign ships and then moved thru the Panama Cannel and returned to Texas at a much higher price to be refined into much more expensive gas for the American public.......

Oslama the economy slayer at work..........ROTFLMAO

Editorial: Obama's pipeline decision delays energy security
The Obama administration's kick-the-can decision to reject the Keystone XL pipeline, at least for now, leaves a confusing muddle that exemplifies the continuing fecklessness of U.S. energy policy.

Man, whomever started this thread is waaaaaaay out there. EVERYONE (except the enviro-nazis) thinks this was a huge mistake for the American people.

Oslama is doing this because Canada lowered its max tax rate on business down to 15%.......

And when the tax in Canada is less than the US that it a bad thing as liberals always point to Canada and say....Look at how high their taxes are........LOL

But he is blaming it on the republicans.........LOL

And only a moronic liberal would believe that but that is all he wants.......

Extracting tar sands, and turning bitumen into crude oil, uses vast amounts of energy and water, and causes significant air and water pollution, and three times the global warming pollution of conventional crude production. The rush to strip-mine and drill tar sands in the boreal will destroy and fragment millions of acres of this wild forest for low-grade petroleum fuel.

Is there anything you or all of the liberals in the USA can do about Canada pumping their oil???
NOPE

Will not building the pipeline hurt them???

NOPE

Will not building the pipeline increase the risk of a major oil spill???
YES

Will not building the pipe line increase the price that the USA will pay for the oil???
YES

Will moving the oil by ship produce 10 times more c02 than the pipe line will???
YES

So not building the pipe line does nothing but..........LOL

1. Increase the risk of a major spill.

2. Release more green house gases

3. Raise the price of the gas that the USA burns.

See how smart you liberals are..........ROTFLMAO

Speaking of morons.
Have you seen this?

Vice President Joe Biden managed to elicit boos at a Democratic fundraiser in San Francisco by declaring the Giants "are on their way to the Super Bowl."

Biden is on a West Coast fundraising swing, which includes stops Thursday in Reno, Nev., and Los Angeles.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Capricorn

You feel like overindulging yourself in some way today, and why not? Throw caution to the wind and eat your way through a big bar of chocolate, or have a retail therapy session that leaves you reeling from the amount of money you've spent. There's a definite chance you could get carried away and tell a whopper of a story that has little resemblance to what really happened. What on earth has got into you?
