Illegally Charging Customers more than the law allows!‎ This company has towed both myself and my two friends cars and have charged us more than the legal amount for the initial hook-up and tow fee (which in the state of Virginia is $125). They also scratched the seam where my doors meet the body of my vehicle due to the tow truck driver trying to get into my car to remove the expired parking pass that I had hanging on my rearview mirror. The company admitted to over charging and has since refunded myself and my friends the overage amount, but would not admit to the damage and now I will have to take this company to small claims in order to recover the funds to fix the damage done to my vehicle.

Worst towing company ever. Make sure your car doesn't have any damage when you pick it up. The road to their yard has many holes on them and it can easily damage the frame of the car while they tow your car. The owner and the business are slimey. Be very advised. I'm taking these people to court. Had an appointment with the owner of the towing company so he could check the damage. The owner didn't even show up and didn't even bother to call. Taking him to court for the damage they did to my car, time they wasted and for the EXPENSIVE lawyer that I'm going to hire for this.

Got got my car towed AGAIN by these slimey bastards. This time, my temporary registration was taped to the back window. The tow truck driver didn't see the temporary registration and towed my car. Got the car out for free, but going to sue them for wasting my time, getting late to work and missing my meeting, taxi fare.......Please leave your email address and we can take them to court together.

I also got my minivan towed in error in my condo complex (The Gates of Mclean). I parked my minivan at carwash lot to do some carwashing. I went back into my condo to get handheld vacuum cleaner and the minivan is GONE. I was gone for about 3 minutes. I called East Coast Towing to return my minivan and they refused. They lied to me telling me that they went around the complex 2~3 times and they still saw a minivan out in carwash lot so they had to tow it. So I went to the towing compound to get my minivan and I saw obvious mishandling on my minivan. They scratched the seam where my right door (passenger side) meet the body of my vehicle. Already filed a BBB report.

Same Problem. This company has a Contract with my community. They have towed our car from our drive way very reckless idiots. They don't have any authority to do this. I have filed a complaint with HoA. The reason given for towing is my car parked is blocking the side walk which is not very true. I don't know how to deal with these guys. This looks like a scam to make money.
I really maddddd..........

That towing company sounds terrible. It's always sad to find a team of professionals that don't know that they're doing. Especially when dealing with something as important as your car. http://www.bellfieldtowing.com

If your car gets towed in Timeberlane apartments for no reason or with damage, please call candace (she's the manager). These scumbags shouldn't be allowed to tow for us.

I quit because I found a day time job that pays more and don't ruin ppl lives..and they do pop the locks and can take whatever they want...I even got hired without a license...ask them can u see the driver's. License......just ask.....they don't care.

Hi There,
Did you ever take these individuals to court? I am looking into a class action law suit...this towing company is unethical and it's time someone did something about it.
