This Thursday at 6PM the Kiwanis Club is sponsoring an election discussion. Councilman Sasso and Ms Coty will attend. Councilwoman Jabaley and Marion Celnic?(Sarge) were invited. To be held at Sewell Funeral Home on Charley Patterson Rd.

As I understand each person has only 3 minutes to speak,the others attending are not permitted to ask questions of them.
I think it would be a good idea to have a real election discussion at another time where the canidates for election would have a reasonable time given to speak and the citizens ask questions if they want.

I have took a long time considering who I would vote for in this election. I have came to the conclusion that M. Jabaley has had her time on council and it is time to see what Marion Celesik? can do for the people of Grantville. Saso has had his time also and cannot see any help from him for our city. The ballpark and the new library was not his contribution, it was already in the works before his term. But he has been succesful in promoting his bussiness.M. Coty seems very educated on the procedures of the city and has what is best for the city and people priorty, we do not need another yes person on council and she definitley is not. I am going to vote for M. Coty she will be better than M. Sasso.

I agree with you on Ms. Coty. She will do her best for Grantville without a personal agenda. BUT....I think you are wrong about "Sarge". He is not the brighest star in the sky!! Get to know him before you vote.

I have known Marion for 7 yrs,so I believe I know him very well. Have you heard him speak on politics? He is very well educated and is one of the smartest of the 4 that are running for council seats, next in line is M.Coty, M. Sasso and Jabley last. I do know he also has faults but I do believe he wants to help the city and I do know he will be fair and also will not be a yes man.

Ms. Selma “Vindictive” Coty. She was removed from the Library Board by the Mayor and Council. Her response to this was to make groundless and false allegations against the Mayor and attempt a Recall. The judge that heard the case scolded Ms. Vindictive Coty and said the recall was baseless. Not only was this very divisive for the City, it was very expensive. Since the Mayor was exonerated, the legal fees fell to the citizens of Grantville to pay. Did Ms. Vindictive tell her followers that? Was this good value for the time Ms. Vindictive spent on the Library Board? When she complains about how much money is spent by the City Council, remember how much her hatred of the Mayor and need for power, cost the citizens. She stops at nothing to get HER way, and her power back, that is the problem. Yes, she served on the Council and as Mayor before with the exact same issues. Her way or no way. As long as you are willing to go along with everything Ms. Vindictive wants on the Council, cast your vote for her. If you think there might be a chance you will not agree with something, be prepared for the results, be very prepared. I think the mean vindictive cloud that was cast over the City comes with the name of Selma” Vindictive “ Coty. Nice try to discredit M. Coty, all you printed is not true. The fees for court and any other fees pertaining to the recall fell on M. Coty's shoulders.The judge did not scold either M.Coty or M. Jabaley. This a Fact.Also we all know the threesome is Houston, Sasso & Rogers. By the way what city do you live in?
