Something should be done? State Democrats tried.
There was an HR bill in the House in 2004-5, that prevented private companies from outsourcing or subcontracting work with govt funds overseas.
Then gov. Romney(R) VETOED the bill. He and the rest of the Republicans have no problem with it.

It's my tax money to stimulate this economy. Want to go overseas and employ foreigners,layoff Americans with American tax money, use your own money. Something any good American would understand.

It is crazy, Deval is using stimulus money to build a pedestrian walk-way at Guillet Stadium. There are parts of this state with over 16% unemployment, use it there.

Reason the people have to cross street is due to Kraft using land for his multi-million dollar shopping complex. Why should state pay for the bridge, let Kraft use his own money. |
