School supply list

I think the school supply list is ridiculous! I feel like I am supplying supplies for whole school. Anyone else feel like that?

To just sayin...I can buy and sell ur @$$ and I sure as hell ain't on no assistance but the last time I checked I only had one kid if I wanted to supply the whole school I'd have more kids but I don't! I also understand that some ppl are less fortunate but just like wow said there's SOS!! Besides I don't think the school supply list is just for the students antibacterial wipes...I know my daughter isn't gonna use em! Zip lock bags!?! Really?!?

Just buy the basics and once school starts ask your childs teacher for a list. I've had teachers tell me that they don't even need all the stuff that is listed.

iam just going to send my child with 1 folder paper and pencils cause i also feel that we have to supply for everyone else. like on the list they ask for the kids to bring expo markers those are not for the kids those are for the teachers because the school will supply them with some.i think it is ridiculos that we have by all this when i went to school we just needed the basics

Gee I thought I was the only one who thought the list was ridiculous. I bought everything on it but I'm only gonna send my kid to school with the supplies he needs and keep the rest at home for when he might need them later on.

nope you are not the only one thats also what im going to do luckly the teacher my child last year had what supplies the students had brought with their nameson them gave the extras back. so this year i only had to buy only 2 spirals and 2 journals cause my childdidnt us the other ones so the teacher gave them back.which was great it help out a lot.

I do give when people need help. I just don't like to be forced to give. There is a difference.
