Burger King - food poisoning

On Sept. 12, 2008, we were travelling through Twin Falls, while on vacation. We had lunch at Burger King. Within a few hours, both of us got very sick! Vomiting, stomach upset, diarrhea, fever and chills.
We contacted Burger King's 1-866 phone number on cash receipt. Left a detailed message and contact numbers. No ever bothered to call us back.
Be careful out there - stay away from Burger King.

Last Friday my boyfriend and I stopped at BK for lunch and became violently ill. I had registered a complaint with the Health Department and have not heard anything back yet. He is loosing wages and neither of us can eat yet. Stay away from Burger King. I wish I had seen more posts like this prior to eating but who thinks to look.

Wish I had read these before eating a whopper. I had diareaha and vomiting ever since. Discusting place to eat. They must have vermin or someone is spitting in the food?

and i have naver got sick at all so why are you all saying boll crap lies abought it aver one thear are so nice and a lot of fun to work with and i have eat thear all the time and so do my family and no one has got sick yet and i would put my life on it that you all got sick for not eating all day long and to get diareaha you need to drink like soda on a emty stumak drink it all day long you can not tell me that you eat a woper and got sick from it when you have to flame broll it like you would on a bbq gril and the bunns are really frish and we use times on all the food that is put on for the sides and if it is not fresh at all that well make it fresh for you so please stop lieing a bought burger king this is why aver were you go eat at the place get shut down and peple like you think you can get rich fast for saying stuff like this witch is not true at all like i sayed you have to drink soda in the moring time to get diareaha it is like drinking soda out your butt when it flys out and if it was food you would have a sold pic come out so please stop saying it is bad food at all

Really, Burger King is bad, I have been sick from eating there..

I am dealing with food poisoning right now. I ate half a Woppper jr last night at 9pm before working a night shift. By 3 am I was vomiting and had severe diarreah. It's almost 5pm the next day and I'm still sick. I'm on my laptop in the bathroom right now, and don't plan on leaving for a while.

I HATE BURGER KING.

ALL OF YOUR ARE GAY.. this stuff is a lie, they are one of cleanest restaunts in the area. Its fast food. If you are looking for a 5 star food place go somewhere else

I took my son to burger king last night he felt good until he ate a cheese burger and has been sick all night with the runs and upset stumoch. he said he thought it was the burger. I need to call the doc and burger king

i went to burger king and had a cheese burger to and ive been up for 2 nights in a row vomitting do NOT go to burger king if you want ure sleep i am very pissed off because im meant to be in a play tomorro and i have no understudy

i live in bristol : myself and my husband went to burger king in eastgate with in 2 hours my husband was being ill, by saturday nite i was so ill and im still ill i cant eat or drink without being sick. i know it was burger king as i havent eaten anything before or after.i can't even drink water without being sick i think something should be done they just dont have any care in what they are doing.

I have to agree, some Burger Kings are filthy, nasty, and stinky and many other things but lets have very clear that there are many that do follow the rules and regulations such as timing the products, cooking the products the propper time/temperature. Also, many burger kings as the one I used to work in are VERY clean and follow all the health department regulations. always look around the kitchen and the dining room before you place your order. never order food in a place you dont feel comfortable around. Most likely if there's a Burger King, there's going to be another fast food place withing walking distance. In conclussion, NOT all Burger Kings are nasty.

i love burger king. i love the rodeo burger!! but with love comes pain, wich i felt much of in my anus the night i was shatting out my meal from bk (now in pure liquid form)... now the only reason i went to bk that faitful day was for the super awesome transformer toy, so it might have been the decepticon that came in my kids meal who gave me terrible food poisoning, but i still got my eye on the bk food...

but on a lighter note: together with james e's campain i believe we can stop diharrea worldwide... because the only way to get diahrrea is if you drink soda in the morning... dam third world countrys never listen!! tell them to put the 2 liters of pepsi down!!

i ate the Burger King ribs yesterday. Now I have a fever that keeps getting higher, but I'm always cold. I have constant diarrhea, and every time I eat something I puke. And don't say it wasn't because of Burger King, because that was the only thing I'd eaten that day. I'm not saying all Burger King is bad. I'd never gotten sick there before.

I am very sorry to hear about everyone's complaints about a local Burger King, that does NOT mean that EVERY Burger King is bad. I work at one myself, and I am not a nasty person, I shower daily, and I am a high school graduate soon to be in college. I am not dunb, nor ignorant. Sad to say, but the Burger King I work at has the best food i have found, it's the freshest, and everything is cooked fresh at least every thirty minutes if we are not busy, and if we are busy, its like every 5-10 minutes. But just because you or a loved one got sick at a local Burger King, please DO NOT hate all Burger Kings.
Now to everyone who might "hate" on me for this please refrain from doing so. You must have better things to do than sit on a computer arguing with someone through a computer screen.

Wow, people are so sick with fevers, chills and etc.. So sick, they are missing work, BUT, they can still get on the net and express themselves, Amazing?.... If I am ill, I don't get out of bed and if I was as ill as some of these people in these stories, I'd be at the Hospital with a valid complaint!! Stop "Boo Hoo'in", and be truthful with documentation!!
