My mother is in a care facility. All her money is going to pay for her stay at the facility. She has no money. I shut all utilities in order to facilitate what money she does have.
Code enforcement has warned her that her lawn is dead and needs to be fixed in a week.
So how is one to revive a completely dead lawn in a week?
Not to mention, san bernardino is a dump and instead of fighting crime, they are concerned about some old lady who has no money, going after her to get her to maintain her home. The property is kept up, lawn service is used, just her grass is dead. It's govt stupidty at it's finest.

@ Teh- that pretty much sums up what is happening. It's not like the old people need that money to survive. You know, from that other Ponzi scheme called social security.

The city wont even take care of our local parks so children can continue to play ball,etc... instead of getting involved in crime. But yet I was cited yesterday for 11 violations and I do not live like a pig! I was cited for trashcans in view of street and they were lined nicely under my carport, people 2 houses down were on street still, they said my yard was too long. It never goes 2 weeks without mowing, they said I have to paint my house, there is minimul paint chipping, I have to move my RV out of driveway when house 2 doors down has boat in driveway. i feel I am being harrassed! Has anyone had any issues with this ever? HELP

I recently move to the city of San bernardino and I've been here for 2 months and have been cited three times and not to mention these code enforcement officers come peeping through my window to see what else they can try and find. I had an altercation with one and he said to go fuck myself??? Really how unprofessional! What a dumb man cause I have a meeting this week with the directors and lets see if they like what he said!!! Very angry and so regret moving here!

People who are unfortunate enough to live in S.B. and its surrounding hell holes need to file a class action law suit against the impotent bums that are harrassing the people who pay their salaries. Most of this citation bs is concerning parking tickets, and should be left at that. But the people who flunked out in the big cities, try to come out to the 'little towns' to try and look like big fish in a little pond. Here's a tip: try checking out your neighbors, because those rat-bastards are the ones that turned you in, in the first place! If we don't band together, they will win!

Code Enforcement has one mission and that's to generate revenue. These overweight under-achievers will soon be armed and break down doors with search warrants looking for violations that will result in this revenue hunt. It's coming soon, you've been warned. Keep in mind, there are tens of thousands and sometimes hundreds of thousands of citizens with only a two or four hundred police and sheriff deputies. The abuse will stop when they no longer want the job.
