Sex offender returned to Chino prison after release

The community is currently organizing a rally to protest the release of repeated violent sex offender, Joseph Lawrence Brown. How did our justice system ever get so screwed-up as to allow someone like this to get out on parole in the first place? He should automatically get life at hard labor. Let's fire all the parole boards and start over.

This Alvarado guy should be ashamed of himself and should immediately be removed from his position at CIM. He didn't think it was right to hold this savage any longer?! Why don't you let him move in with your family pal!

thta a poor excuse to lock him up again for getting from the prison to his home in tustin lock up the cops for being asshol--- but public outcry got hme locked again not riding in a car with a female that a bad way for jsutuce he would have been better off killing 2 people

I hate this scumbag as much as the rest of you but he'll be out in 30-60 days tops. That's the way the system is and the next time they probably won't let you know when he's getting released. Also I'd expect him to get married to this "so called" girlfriend while in prison so his new WIFE can drive him home and not have his parole violated like that again. If you can't shoot'em before he leaves the joint, what would you rather have him do - sit on a city bus next to you and your daughters on his way home from the pen? Maybe they can house him with Loren Herzog (another sexually violent predator) that CDC and Paroles now have living in a trailer on the prison grounds at Susanville. Maybe then, one of them would kill the other.

Corrections is just doing what the law requires them to do. Just like you can't pick up someone and hold them in jail without leagal action, they cannot hold him past his release date. It is illegal. The Legislature needs to do their job and pass laws that will hold these cretins until they are dust piles.

Richard Alvarado should be forced to resign from his position. These bureaucrats who are supposed to work in the public interest, but fail to do so, need to be exposed for the hypocrites that they are. By the way, these guys can retire at age 50 and collect a pension of 90% of their salary, FOR LIFE!
The Department of Corrections is under intense pressure from our INEPT Governor and Legislature, to reduce the prison population in order to save money. They like to tell us that only "low risk, non-violent" offenders will be released, but the fact is that innocent citizens will be raped and killed as more and more of these MONSTERS are released.
Please listen to the "JOHN AND KEN" show on KFI (AM-640) weekdays from 2:00-7:00 p.m. We need to demand that bureaucrats that make bad decisions be held accountable. We need to start making some serious changes in california, because this state is going in the toilet!

Great Post!!! Without John and Ken this release would have gone virtually unnoticed.

John & Ken are full of themselves. They take a few bad apples in local, state, and federal gov. and label ALL gov workers as lames, lops, and lazy lumps. EVERY employer has bad apples! KFI is there to "Stimulate" you which covers good & bad stimulation. They pump out a lotta BS, half truths, and erroneous information. They spew their disdain for public employees as "Useless, over paid drones" who do not deserve or earn their keep. Pretty general term.I wonder what "Vital" service they supply sitting on their asses in a cubicle spitting out contemp into a microphone all day.A monkey could do there job. I wonder what salary they drag down? If you believe all the garbage those two bubbleheads belch out then I suggest you put on a uniform, and work the streets or a prison for awhile. Correct! CDCR has no legal right to hold inmates past their max release dates which are mandated by law. They are and always have been a holding establishment, not a sentencing one. Jerks like John & Ken can't seem to absorb that concept!
