Ever since Mayor Tommy Battle has been mayor there has been a decline in south huntsville. The student population and quality is in decline the HHA is altering the population demographics and force residents to consider living elsewhere. Madison is looking more attractive with better schools, better politics, and less social engineering. Tommy Battle will not get my vote and I hear the same from many others. Huntsville is fast declining forcing residents out further from the city. The downtown offers little reason to live in Huntsville, so if the neighborhoods and schools decline there will be no reason to live, vist, or spend money in the city. Mayor Battle has demonstrated absolutely no vision for the city other than pushing residents away. Not sure why he would be inducted into any club unless they share in the desire to make Huntsville a place you go to work, not to live.

Mayor Battle was voted in largely by North and West Huntsville. If you recall his campaign was based on making Huntsville "one city"...he did not hide his intentions. He portrayed Loretta as "old and out of touch". All the while, riding the coat tails of the "Change Generation" who think everyone MUST get along on the playground at recess. He does not have a chance for re-election by South Huntsville voters!

Daily Horoscope for December 6

Sagittarius

You still prefer to be in a world of your own, in which nothing nasty is happening, but at least you're feeling a little more realistic than you were yesterday. It's a perfect day for visiting somewhere beautiful, peaceful or relaxing, or for going to the cinema or an art gallery. But it will be difficult to get up the energy for any prolonged Christmas shopping.
